Even in the recent official BGMI 3.5 version update podcast, the speakers have stated about this issue and confirmed that they will provide a stable solution for this in the next update, which is set to come in the next week.
How to fix the mic glitch in BGMI
Although there are no proper solutions in BGMI to fix this glitch, we have some tricks to solve it temporarily. Here are those:
- Restart the game: You can restart the game twice consecutively to fix this issue. When you open it after the first restart, wait for 10-15 seconds in the match then restart again for success.
- Make a phone call: When you face this glitch, just minimize the game and make a phone call to any of your teammates. When they pick up the call, cut it off instantly. This is how you can fix it. Make sure you have the in-game mic turned on while making the call.
- Switch to Mobile Data: If you are playing on Wi-Fi, turn it off and switch to Mobile Data for a few seconds. After doing that, turn it off too and then wait for 5-10 seconds then again turn it on.
While doing these tricks, make sure to get to a safe location with proper covers so that you do not get finished by enemies.
