Project Ghoul is a Roblox game that was inspired by the popular anime and manga Tokyo Ghoul. When loading up the game for the first time, you will see save slots and choose whether to live as a ghoul or a CCG agent. At this moment, leveling up is the same for ghouls and CCG agents. All missions are available to both parties. PVP isn’t available to players until reaching level 150 and up.

The easiest way to fly through levels on Project Ghoul is by completing the quests. When entering the game, the player will have a pop-up notification that allows them to choose between “yes” or “no. Upon selecting yes, the player will see an exclamation point showing the location of the quests for their respective level. Selecting “yes” on these notifications will allow the player to automatically set a waypoint to the next tier of quests.
Easiest Levels
When starting, you will be directed to the two quests near the Anteiku coffee shop. Outside Anteiku, there will be two NPCs that can be interacted with. Each of them will give you a quest to complete. With each quest, you will receive payment. With each kill, you will receive XP that levels you up.
The best part about these quests is that you can complete them more than once, just make sure that every time you kill an enemy, you click on their body that is on the ground. This will feed your character. Once you reach a certain level, you will be able to move on to the mid-level ghoul quest outside the burger shop called Byrger-Shot, and completing these two low-level quests multiple times over will allow you to level up quickly and easily.
On PC, make sure to sprint when traveling to places so you can arrive faster. To sprint, press W twice or hold the CTRL key on your keyboard.
Weaker NPCs
Each NPC ghoul has a level above their head and a ranking. For example, low-level ghouls will be labeled as such and this goes for each NPC that can be fought. Looking for the ghouls at the lowest levels will allow for the quickest progression.
There will never be a shortage of ghouls either, since they always respawn in relatively the same areas. Fighting the mid-level ghouls at the second quest behind Byger-Shot will grant more XP but will be slightly more difficult.
All NPCs are perfectly safe to approach to see their levels up close. They will not lock onto or fight the player until they are hit first.
Effective Fighting Tactics
Both ghouls and CCG agents can block hits using F when fighting, but make sure to watch the blue bar. If you are hit too many times and diminish the blue bar, you get stunned for about 2 seconds, which can leave a window to take damage. You can also dash to dodge a hit by using Q. The easiest way to deal damage to your enemies is by using your special moves.
At the bottom center of the screen, players will see a bar that shows what each corresponding key is to your special moves. Each new special move will unlock with increasing levels. First, players start with one special move and will eventually level up to have three moves. Each kagune has different special moves that can sometimes shoot projectiles, launch the player, and more. Make sure to test out your moves before fighting, just in case you accidentally attract too many enemies at once.
However, even after spinning for a new kagune, your progress will not regress. This means that if a player chooses to switch kagunes, they will always be able to use all of their special moves, regardless of how long they have been using that kagune. As long as the player meets the minimum level requirements for the special moves, they will always be able to use them, even if their kagune rarity has increased or decreased.
If you die at any point, don’t fret! All NPCs that can be fought will not regenerate health if you fail. You will also not lose any mission or quest progress if you die at any point.
Leveling Up Skills
To deal more damage and increase your skills, you will need to select the “menu” button near the bottom center of your screen. After successfully fighting enemies and completing missions, you will be awarded skill points. As a ghoul, you can use these skill points to increase health, hunger, agility, and damage. As a CCG agent, you can use these skill points to increase health, agility, and damage, since CCG agents don’t need to eat in-game.
Leveling up your skills in Project Ghoul is crucial to being able to complete quests quicker and level up much faster. The best skills to level up for easy leveling will be both health and damage. As long as you make sure to click each enemy once they are defeated, hunger shouldn’t be a problem. Agility is a good skill to increase if you are running a lot, but it is a better choice not to level it up first.
