Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Drive Disks in Version 1.4

A recent leak from Zenless Zone Zero is hinting at a pair of new Drive Disk sets coming to the game with the upcoming Version 1.4 update. Much like many of HoYoverse’s other titles, the urban action RPG provides players with a wide variety of ways to accessorize and enhance their characters. Beyond leveling a character’s EXP and skills, players can collect different W-Engines, featuring powerful stat boosts and unique bonuses, and Drive Disks, which allow players to customize their individual characters’ builds. Now, fans are rumored to be receiving new Drive Disk options in the near future.

Zenless Zone Zero offers plenty of ways for players to pick up Drive Disks within the game, both using in-game resources and taking on combat challenges. The RPG’s “Routine Cleanup” battles allow players to obtain specific sets of Drive Disks by defeating enemies, with each featuring two different sets. The “Bardic Needle” shop can also be used to acquire specific Drive Disks, allowing players to determine everything from rarity and partition to a Drive Disk’s main stat. Leaks are now saying that some new Drive Disks are on the way with the next update.

Zenless Zone Zero Leak Teases New Drive Disks

A new leak shared to the Zenless Zone Zero leaks subreddit via leaker Flying Flame is hinting at two new Drive Disk sets in Version 1.4. According to the leak, “Silent Listening Melody” will come to the game as a quick swap-focused set, with its 2-piece bonus providing a 10% ATK increase and its 4-piece ability boosting damage when using Quick Support. “Broken Branch Sword Song” will similarly include a 10% ATK buff for its 2-piece, while the 4-piece set gives bonus Crit DMG with a high Anomaly Mastery stat and further increases damage when triggering Freeze or Shatter.

Silent Listening Melody

• 2-piece bonus: Increases ATK by 10%
• 4-piece bonus: When any team member enters the field through Quick Support, the entire team gains 1 layer of Melody, stacking up to 3 layers, lasting for seconds. Repeated triggers refresh the duration. Each layer of Melody increases the damage dealt by the character entering through Quick Support by 8%. This effect is unique to the team.

Broken Branch Sword Song

• 2-piece bonus: Increases ATK by 10%
• 4-piece bonus: When Anomaly Mastery is greater than or equal to 115 points, the wearer’s Crit DMG is increased by 25%. When any team member applies Freeze or triggers Shatter on an enemy, the wearer’s ATK is increased by 15% for 15 seconds.

The pair of new Drive Disk sets are both expected to synergize well with Version 1.4’s new characters. Asaba Harumasa will likely be able to take advantage of “Silent Listening Melody,” coming as an Attack character with players encouraged to use quick rotations to buff Harumasa. Hoshimi Miyabi is also set to debut as a heavy damage-oriented Ice Anomaly character, providing big boosts to her damage stats when applying Anomalies. Zenless Zone Zero‘s Version 1.4 will debut on December 18.

New Drive Disks for Zenless Zone Zero will join a plethora of content said to be coming soon for the popular gacha game. Alongside the previously-mentioned Harumasa and Miyabi in Version 1.4, Zenless Zone Zero‘s future playable cast has seen multiple teasers from the Vanquishers’ Pulchra and in-universe singer Astra Yao to a new “virtual idol” group. Major gameplay changes are also said to be on the way, with rumors that Zenless Zone Zero will make significant alterations to its ultimate system. Zenless Zone Zero fans should have plenty to look forward to from the beloved RPG.
