Teeming with action-packed fights and nuanced storytelling, these are Fairy Tail’s most exciting arcs.

The anime is set to premiere on Januray 10, 2024, in Japan. The main staff who previously worked on Fairy Tail includes chief director Shinji Ishihara (directed Fairy Tail and Edens Zero) and director Toshihiko Sano (worked as animation director, storyboarder and more on Fairy Tail). Toshizo Nemoto (Metallic Rouge) is in charge of the series composition. Check out the first trailer:

Farmagia takes place in the land of Felicidad, which falls under the tiranic control of Glaza after the previous ruler death. This causes a rebellion movement, which main character Ten eventually joins. The player controls Ten and his party into twelve chapters, forming pacts with Elemental Spirits that aid them in battle.

The Japanese voice cast is reprising their roles in the anime, but since an international release is not yet confirmed, there is no information on any eventual English dub.

Fairy Tail, Edens Zero and More on Mashima’s Career

Hiro Mashima started his career with the Bad Boys Song one-shot in August 1998, published while he was waiting for the results of a competition held by Kodansha’s Weekly Shōnen Magazine (which his Magician one-shot won). Then he started serializing Rave Master, which ran in the same magazine from 1999 to 2005 and was adapted into anime.

His most known work is Fairy Tail, serialized from 2006 to 2017, and adapted into a 328 episode anime, and one of the best-selling manga of all times, with over 70 million copies in print. Fairy Tail spawned several spin-offs, games, merchandise, the Fairy Tail Zero prequel and a sequel, Fairy Tail: 100 Years Quest.

From 2018 to 2024, he serialized Edens Zero (in the same magazine, Mashima is the biggest Weekly Shōnen Magazine name today), which was also adapted into anime, with some episodes available on Netflix (season 1) and others on Crunchyroll (season 2).

He also serialized in 2019 the crossover series Mashima’s Hero, with Fairy Tail, Rave Master and Edens Zero characters going on an adventure together.

Dragon Quest XI S Echoes of an Elusive Age Hero Protagonist

Although this is the first time Mashima draws artwork to an original game, he has already serialized the Monster Hunter Orage and Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of an Elusive Age manga. He also developed an Edens Zero RPG Maker game titled Rebecca to Kikai no Yōkan. He was an arcade part-time worker before becoming a mangaka, so his interest in games in not new for fans.
