Black Ops 6 Fans Have One Big Complaint About The New Playlists

Key Takeaways

  • Fans frustrated by lack of Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 playlist in recent Black Ops 6 update.
  • Players provide feedback to Treyarch for fast implementation of fixes and updates.
  • Calls for Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 playlist due to map size and camo grinding potential.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 fans online are frustrated about the lack of a Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 playlist in the most recent update to the game. Treyarch added a regular Stakeout 24/7 playlist to Call of Duty: Black Ops 6, but did not add one for gamers who prefer the intense gameplay of Hardcore mode.

While it’s early days, gamers have not been shy about voicing their opinions on Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. The game was released in a solid state, so many of these opinions are only in service of making the game even better than it already is. For example, the multiple nerfs to the Black Ops 6 Recon Combat Specialty were only possible because players were swift to give feedback to Treyarch. To the studio’s credit, it seems to be taking this feedback on board and implementing fixes very quickly.

Despite embracing a rather risky launch strategy, one Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 dev shares why this approach might have actually helped the game.

The most recent update for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 added several new playlists to the game, including 10v10 Moshpit and Stakeout 24/7. Strangely, there is no Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 playlist, and players have been quick to voice their frustrations about the omission in various threads online. In one thread started by Redditor RJSSJR123, one player described the issue as “so stupid,” while another speculated that it may be to “negate easy camo grinds.” Several players in another thread started by user Bravo_Lemon believed that it might be a bug, but at this point, that doesn’t seem to be the case.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Fans Want Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 Playlist

The frustration stems from the fact that Stakeout is by far the smallest map in Call of Duty: Black Ops 6. It’s extremely chaotic in 6v6 modes, with players constantly spawning next to each other. This makes it amazing for earning weapon camos fast, as an enemy is never more than a second away. On Hardcore, where the time-to-kill is very low, this would be perfect for grinding out those camos, especially for some of the more frustrating weapons. It’s worth remembering that when it released Nuketown for Black Ops 6 earlier this month, a Hardcore 24/7 playlist was available for that map, so it’s not without precedent. Hopefully, this is something Treyarch addresses in a future update for those who are frustrated at the moment.

While there’s no sign of Hardcore Stakeout 24/7 coming any time soon, Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 players still have plenty to look forward to in the near future. Season 1 is set to start on November 14, and recently, Black Ops 6 revealed three new maps coming to the game to freshen up the multiplayer pool. It’s likely there will be even more content released through Season 1, too, so interested players should keep their eyes peeled over the coming weeks.
