Chapter Four – The Long Goodbye Walkthrough
You start this chapter in the Great Cathedral, where you need to stop the wedding of the king and his advisor, Lady Kayla, as well as put an end to Lady Kayla’s plans. First, click on the main entrance of the cathedral. Then, click on the blue side door. Next, click on the cathedral itself, and Monica will say that she’ll use a lockpick to open the door.
This will start the lockpicking mini-game. In this mini-game, you need to hold down your mouse button to move the crosshair, and release it when it’s between the two lines. If you complete this five times without any mistakes, you’ll unlock the door. Remember, the crosshair moves a bit slower on the way back, so use that to your advantage.
Once you pass the mini-game, the door will unlock, allowing you to reach the bell tower. There’s nothing to interact with inside, so click twice on the area with the turning gears in the background. This will lead you to a higher part of the cathedral.
At this point, first click on the altar in the center below, then click on the red hanging flags on the left side. This will give Sonny an idea. Head back to the room with the television you were in earlier, and click on the huge suitcase there to add a coat hanger to your inventory. Return to the attic, and use the coat hanger from your inventory on the red hanging flag on the left.
Sonny and Monica will now descend to the altar area, where they’ll encounter Lady Kayla. Kayla will explain the events so far and how she manipulated the Chicken Police. After the cutscene, Lewis and Filmar will talk with Sonny.
If you’ve completed all tasks in the game, you’ll receive the ‘RPGamer’ achievement.
After speaking with King Hector, Sonny will talk to Monica. Then, Bloodboyle will approach you and inform you that Marty is about to undergo a life-saving surgery. Sonny will then visit Marty, and after their dialogue, you’ll see a cutscene followed by the credits.
If you started a romantic relationship with Monica, you’ll receive the ‘Out of the Friendzone’ achievement and unlock the secret ending. At this point, interact with everything in Sonny’s Flat, and you’ll get to see one last scene before the game ends.
