Facepunch Studios aims to bring the original thrill of Rust’s gameplay to Rust Mobile

As we already covered earlier this year and according to recent reports, Level Infinite, the studio behind Assassin’s Creed Jade and Honor of Kings, is likely responsible for releasing Rust Mobile in Western markets, as the game is now officially authorized by Facepunch Studios.

Facepunch Studios has officially announced on X (formerly known as Twitter) that the popular survival title Rust is finally making its way to mobile. In addition, they have also created a dedicated Discord server for Rust Mobile, where you can find all the latest details, updates on beta phases, development news, sneak peeks, and more.

The studio has promised that Rust Mobile will bring the classic survival gameplay of Rust to mobile devices. According to the game’s FAQ on Discord, development is progressing smoothly and the project shows great potential. A closed beta for China will start this month, with a more limited test phase planned for the global version early next year. I hope the game lives up to everyone’s expectations.
