Another day, another new Dota 2 server-crashing bug that many are abusing in ranked matches – and this time it’s with Mirana.
We’ve reported on plenty of server-breaking Dota 2 bugs over the years and this time it’s the same tale with a slightly different spin to it – by simple as buying a Eul’s Scepter of Divinity and killing a neutral creep, you too can ruin the game for nine other people!
What is the Mirana Euls/Aghs Server Crash bug?
If you noticed a spike in Mirana players in your games recently, it might be because they are attempting to abuse the Mirana Euls Server Crash bug.
As the name suggests, performing this bug correctly will cause the Dota 2 server to crash and the game will not be scored. Of course, this only occurs if the player abusing the Mirana Euls Server Crash bug is losing the game.
We don’t endorse bug abuse, but at least having knowledge of the bug will help those trying to fix it, or avoid Mirana players.
To perform the Mirana Euls Server Crash bug, here’s what you need to do:
- Pick Mirana
- Buy Eul’s Scepter of Divinity
- If you are losing the game, head over to a nearby neutral creep camp.
- Shoot the Arrow at the creep
- Use Eul’s Scepter of Divinity on the target creep at the same instance
This might require a few attempts, but the right timing would crash the Dota 2 server.
How To Avoid The Mirana Euls Server Crash Bug?
Unfortunately, there isn’t much you can do about the Mirana Euls server crash bug besides banning the hero during the picking phase. Otherwise, the game’s outcome is at the liberty of whoever picks the hero abuse.
As such, Dota 2 players are getting frustrated with the Mirana Euls server crash bug and calling for the Dota 2 dev team to urgently disable Mirana from matchmaking. At least until they can resolve such a game-breaking bug.
History of Dota 2 Server Crash Bugs
While the latest Mirana bug is frustrating to deal with, this certainly isn’t our first rodeo with server-crashing bugs. In this year alone, we have had three different bugs that had a high chance of crashing the Dota 2 server.
Notably, there was Lone Druid’s Summon Bear Server Crash Bug, which targets the unusual mechanics of the Bear’s backpack inventory. Or a less severe but still game-ruining bug, the Meepo Manta Unlimited Gold bug, where the Meepo player only have to disconnect from the game and let his teammate use Manta indefinitely on the Meepo clone to get free Manta Styles.
Ultimately, each of these bugs either leads to the Dota 2 server crash or the victims losing the game, at the very least. Dota 2 server crashes have been so rampant lately that it feels like there’s a fundamental bug in the game that is vulnerable to any form of attack by these bug abusers.
