Here’s how to complete The Singing Blade quest in Dragon Age: The Veilguard!
Thankfully, there’s an outline for what you can do to bring in more money, pay off the loans, and make the water park something truly fantastic. We’ll guide you every step of the way so you can enjoy the experience and express your creativity with coasters!
Bronze Objectives
When you first arrive in this park, it’s drowning in loans and suffering greatly. You can turn it around, however, by using those loans to build amazing coasters and flumes. These rides will bring in guests and generate revenue so you can pay off your loans and start making profits.
Build Guest Services And A Restroom
The first step here is to build a guest services building and a restroom. A guest services facility is vital for your park visitors, as they can buy essential items here as well as water park passes.
Next, place a new restroom in the park. There are plenty of building shells around the area for you to use, but you can place the facility anywhere you’d like.
Once that’s done, hire a janitor to maintain the cleanliness of the bathroom.
Research New Rides And Expand The Park
After completing the first steps, you’ll need to unlock new rides to fill your park with. Open up the research menu and select the flat rides tab. Start by researching the Spinning Flat Rides.
With your new research, you’ll need to buy a new plot of land to put it on. Using the money from the loans, purchase a new plot of land and place a new flat ride in the park and open it for your guests to enjoy.
Don’t forget to make sure there’s enough power for the ride!
Build A New Pool
The last objectives before reaching the bronze badge require you to build a proper pool facility. This not only includes building a new pool, but also constructing at least two changing rooms nearby.
You’ll need to have a minimum average pool prestige of 300, but by default, that shouldn’t be a problem.
Build a custom pool or select the premade ones for convenience. Once they’re placed, you’ll need to ensure that 90 percent of the pools are covered by a lifeguard for safety.
Open the custom scenery tab to find the different lifeguard posts. Rotate them to provide ample coverage of the pool area so that distressed guests can be rescued.
Doing so will complete the bronze badge objectives and you’ll be well on your way to turning this park around!
Silver Objectives
As you continue to grow your park, you’ll need to get the word out that the water park is up and coming. The best way to do so is to run an advertisement, but you’ll need a few more attractions first.
Complete The American Arrow
The first attraction you’ll want to complete is the unfinished American Arrow coaster. It’s the big yellow coaster close to the shoreline. You can experiment with different track pieces to complete the ride, but make sure it’s not too extreme for your guests.
After the coaster is completed, run a test and open it up. Don’t forget to adjust the pricing if you want to draw in a crowd!
Build Two Flumes
The next step is to build two new flumes for the pool. They can be as simple as a straightforward slide or more complex, with winding tubes and special parts that lure guests in.
No matter the case, make sure there’s enough room for the flumes to be placed and a clear entrance for guests to access.
You can place multiple flumes on the same platform!
Run An Advertisement
With your new rides complete and operating, it’s time to run an advertisement. Open the guests tab, then swap over to the advertisement window. Select the Long Flume Enthusiasts ad campaign and run it.
The more money you pay for the advertisement, the sooner it will complete!
Once you confirm that the advertisement is running, you’ll slowly see more guests filtering in to enjoy your pools and park attractions. This completes the silver objectives, awarding you with a new badge and allowing you to proceed to the gold challenges.
Gold Objectives
Now that the park is gaining traction, it’s time to step up your game and create even more attractions to draw in a crowd. Not only will you need more pools, but you’ll also want more coasters to reach a wide audience.
Build Another Flat Ride And Coaster
The first step is to build a fourth flat ride and have it open. It can be a duplicate of a previous ride you already built, but parks tend to do better with a variety of attractions. Try to keep it close to your other rides so you have enough power to run it!
Next, you’ll need to build another coaster. You can build a small circuit on your own, or you can purchase a premade coaster. While more expensive, they are faster to construct and draw in more guests.
This means you should have a total of two coasters in your park!
Build More Pools
After constructing more coasters, it’s time to focus on pools. The goal is to have at least four pools with an average prestige rating of 400 or more. Building the premade pools is a good option, as they come with plenty of decorations and extras that up the prestige rating.
Placing pool extras like wave machines and lifeguard posts will help you raise your prestige rating.
Maintain Your Park
After this wave of building, it’s time to work on maintenance. Keeping the average rating above 80 percent will take a bit of effort, but hiring a few more mechanics and scheduling repairs will help increase this score.
Don’t be afraid to schedule emergency repairs when necessary. To complete this objective, you’ll need at least ten rides in the park, and all of them will need to be in good condition for you to earn the gold badge and continue to the final challenges for this scenario.
Platinum Objectives
Your park is almost perfect, but there are a few crucial steps left to ensure that your park is as entertaining as it can be. This includes building a few more rides and finally paying off those pesky loans.
Build A Custom Coaster
While you’ve built coasters before, there’s an extra requirement on this one. It needs to have at least one drop of at least 40 meters, which can be tricky to achieve if you haven’t done it before.
Either have your track first carry the coaster into the air, then have it plummet to the ground, or start with the platform on a ledge and let the cart ride down the cliff side. Set the coaster to open after a successful test, then get ready to enhance your pools yet again.
Have Five Prestigious Pools And Flumes
You’ll need five pools this time, and a prestige rating of at least 500. Adding wave machines and jets to the pools is the best way to go, along with placing chairs for sunbathing and other decor.
Diving boards are a great way to draw in guests without taking up too much space!
Keep decorating your pools until the prestige rating increases above the threshold. Next, you’ll need to have a total of at least five flumes open and operating in your park. Pre-built flumes are the easiest ways to add a pop of color and excitement to the park.
Pay Off All Loans
Now all that’s left is to pay off your loans! The loan amount starts at $70,000, and with interest it will only grow. You’ll need to have plenty of income from your park to pay off these debts. Thankfully, it doesn’t have to be done all at once. You can pay down the loans at any time in smaller amounts.
To increase revenue, you can access your finances menu and see what your park charges for all different products, services, and attractions.
Upping the ticket prices, introducing premiere passes, and providing more places for guests to buy food and merchandise can all bring your park profits up high enough to pay off the loan.
Go to the finances menu and select loans to make your final payments and complete the scenario!
