If you’re familiar with the Arcade1Up brand then you’ll know the company specializes in creating arcade machines you can buy and set up in your own home. If you’ve never heard of Arcade1Up before, you might have assumed that’s what it does via its name. The company offers more than just standard arcade cabinets though, and this week it has added a home photobooth to its offerings.
The first thing you think of when reminiscing about arcades are the games you’d play in them, or the games you still play in them if you’re lucky enough to have an arcade nearby. Arcades are about more than just video games though, and Arcade1Up has been recognizing that more and more lately. In September it revealed a claw machine similar in size to its cabinets, and now it has added a photobooth you can hang on the door, the wall, or anywhere else you have room for it.

Photobooths aren’t necessarily a fixture of all arcades, but the ones you sit inside for passport photos, or for a fun series of photos with friends, can often be found in an arcade setting. Arcade1Up’s photobooth isn’t exactly that, and that’s probably for the best. Full-sized photobooths are so big that not only would almost no one want one in their home, but a replica of one you can buy through Arcade1Up would cost a fortune.
Arcade1Up Has Revealed Its Revamped Photobooth And Its Available Now
A Perfect Alternative For A Wedding You Planned On Booking A Photo Booth For, Perhaps
Since Arcade1Up’s photobooth has been designed so that it can be hung somewhere rather than being a huge piece of furniture almost no one would have room for, its price is also pretty reasonable at $399.99. The Photobooth has a seven-inch touchscreen that’s easy to use, and up to 16GB of internal storage. A big plus versus a regular photo booth out in the wild as not only can you store photos to go back to later, but it also means you don’t have to print pics you don’t like the look of.
The Photobooth has a MicroSD slot if you want to store more than 16GB worth of images, and comes with 20 ZINK sheets. ZINK technology doesn’t use ink, so no buying new cartridges and more sheets can be bought separately for relatively cheap. The Photobooth was released this week and is available to buy on Amazon through the link in the box below right now.
Arcade1Up Photobooth
Arcade1Up is best known for making home arcade machines, but it has dabbled with a few similar products. One of those products is its Photobooth. The Arcade1Up Photobooth has been designed to be hung on the wall or a door and has an easy-to-use seven-inch touchscreen. The photos you take can either be store or printed immediately using ZINK technology which means no need for printer ink.
As noted above, Arcade1Up also branched out into the world of claw machines for the first time this year. The retro company’s first claw machine comes filled with capsules you can load with whatever prizes you want, and has various difficulties up to “scam”. If you’re after more traditional arcade fare, Arcade1Up recently revealed a very special Pac-Man machine loaded with Bandai Namco classics.
