Is There Going to be a Fortnite Live Event Today?
We’re just a short while away from the end of Fortnite Chapter 5. It’ll be a shame to see a lot of it go but it’s always exciting to see what’s coming next for the Battle Royale. Often, the end of the season goes out with a bang. Is there a Fortnite live event today?
Epic has started to host some live events much more often. We might not get the level of Chapter 1 and past Fortnite seasons, with fully blown events to close out each season. However, we do get these mini-events much more often now along with the upcoming full event to close out the season!
This season we’re even getting two of them! With one Fortnite live event being held ahead of the start of Fortnitemares and another coming just a short while later.
Their timing is often a bit more of a mystery too, with Epic rarely advertising when they’re going down. Other than when there’s a direct countdown in-game, like there was earlier this season.
If you don’t want to miss a Fortnite event today though we do know a bit about what’s coming and when. Thanks to early confirmation of the last event, we know when we can expect an event. So, is there a Fortnite live event today or do we have longer to wait?

Is There a Fortnite Live Event?
There is a Fortnite live event today!
The Fortnite live event will be taking place on November 2nd, in most time zones.
At the end of the last two seasons, we didn’t get full live events but mini ones with animations and other minor changes. However, these mini-events even started getting countdowns at the end of Chapter 5 Season 3. We’re expecting a bigger event at the end of the season, and now we’ve had the smaller event for Chapter 5 Season 4’s event.
This current event will close out Chapter 5 Season 4. Then, we’ll get another event within a few weeks!
The Next Fortnite Live Event
We’re only just seeing our final Fortnite Live Event on Chapter 5, but we already know when we’re getting the next one. And we’re expecting one of the biggest events of the year in just a few more weeks.
The next Fortnite Live event will come to celebrate the end of Fortnite Remix. The last event was the Prelude, and next up in the finale. The conclusion to a month-long event in the game and Chapter 5 as a whole. When the previous Doctor Doom ending event was announced, we also heard about the upcoming event. This will be our final event before when the Fortnite season ends.
In terms of an exact time, we haven’t gotten that announced yet. However, we know it’ll be coming at the end of the Remix mini-season. Hopefully, it’ll be made clear with a decent space of time so everyone can make sure they’re free to attend the event.
We don’t know what’s going to happen in this event, but we’re expecting to start to see some details coming through in Fortnite leaks as we get towards the end of the season. We can expect this to round off some of Chapter 5’s biggest developments and maybe even some Chapter 2 Fortnite lore.
There have already been some parts of the Chapter washed up in-game on the outskirts of the island. This could be our first hint of what’s coming next as the live event takes us from Chapter 5 to Chapter 6.
Will There Be More Mini Fortnite Events?
Fortnite dataminers dig through the files regularly to find things that will happen to the game. This time we’re expecting one of our biggest events. Although, we did get an extra mini one happening mid-season this time. We could see more of these mini-animations happening over the next month as we get towards the end too.

The event won’t happen until the end of November, when the season ends. As we get closer though, we can expect a new in-game countdown to appear and tell us exactly how long we have until the next event.
