Fortnite Chapter 5 has concluded, and Epic has announced that Remix Chapter 2 will take place all of November before the next big chapter starts next month. Similar to last year’s OG season, the map is a complete throwback, with the geography and POIs that fans might remember from Chapter 2. That means that the entire map is “new” compared to the last season, but even if you remember Chapter 2 in great detail, not everything is a rehash.
Remix Chapter 2 features several musical artists–Snoop Dogg, Eminem, Ice Spice, and the late Juice WRLD–with each artist getting their own POI that will be added once a week for the duration of Remix Chapter 2. These new areas are taking over old POIs, which are all listed below. When each new location is added, an NPC of that artist will also appear there, offering special items for you to purchase for gold.
Those POIs are:
- The Doggpound, Agency compound – November 2
- Mom’s Spaghetti, Grotto cave – November 7
- Ice Isle, Shark Island – November 14
- WRLD Point – November 21
In addition to those POIs, there will also be multiple named areas returning from Chapter 2, including iconic spots like Retail Row and Pleasant Park. The map geography is also the same as Chapter 2, basically reusing the old version of the map, with the addition of a couple new locations.
All returning locations are:
- The Yacht
- Craggy Cliffs
- Steamy Stacks
- Pleasant Park
- Sweaty Sands
- Frenzy Farm
- Dirty Docks
- Salty Springs
- Holly Hedges
- Weeping Woods
- Lazy Lake
- Retail Row
- The Rig
- Slurpy Swamp
- Misty Meadows
You can get a look at some of the new and returning below, in a collection of screenshots provided by Epic Games. Remix Chapter 2 also features a battle pass with remixed versions of old battle pass skins and the introduction of Kicks, new shoe cosmetics that can be used with the majority of skins in Fortnite.
