Throughout Season 5, MW3 and Warzone have offered free Battle Pass tokens as part of the Weekly Challenges. Or at least they should’ve, as it appears these tokens have only been given to some players and the reason why isn’t clear.
There isn’t long left of MW3 and Warzone Season 5, with Season 6 set to arrive on September 18. So, if you’re looking to claim all of the rewards and CoD Points on offer, you’ll want to make sure you reach Tier 100.

Players can speed up the process by earning Battle Pass tokens through the Weekly Challenges, but as many players just found out through a Reddit thread, not everyone can.
User ‘skrnroo06’ posted two Discord screenshots side by side, one with a player getting four Battle Pass Tokens for completing Week 7’s challenges, and another that didn’t.
The comments are full of players shocked and angry that they’ve never been offered tokens. “Bro what the hell I’ve never gotten a single bp token from weekly challenges,” said one user.

“Been playing since launch. Only level 1000, but never received tokens from weekly and I’ve done them all,” replied another.
“My mate isn’t getting tokens but I am, I have finished the battle pass already, they just go in the token bank, no doubt vanish later on when season 6 comes,” explained ‘Enigma_Green.’
There doesn’t seem to be any reason why some players are getting tokens and others aren’t. I play on PC through Battle.net, have bought the normal Battle Pass but haven’t finished it yet, and I’ve been getting the tokens throughout Season 5. Others who seem to be in the same boat as me haven’t been getting them though.

The devs haven’t responded to the issue at the time of writing, but with many players starting to realize, it should be on their radar.
Luckily, you can also level up the Season 5 Battle Pass while playing Black Ops 6’s Open Beta, so you won’t lose out on any progress while trying out the new game.
