This is what you need to know about Display Boards in Pokemon Pocket.
Once you’ve built up a deck, Pokemon Pocket invites you to take on friends in head-to-head battles, adding some competition to your collection journey. Want to learn how to add friends and start battles? We’ve got you covered with everything you need to know to start challenging friends and making your collection even more legendary.
How To Add A Friend
To add a friend, go to the social tab at the bottom of the screen. Look for the icon with three people in front of a circle. Once inside, tap the ‘Friends’ button on the bottom left.
In the next menu, click the plus symbol in the top right corner to enter your friend’s code. Your friend can find their code in the same section on their device. Simply type it in, enter, and they will receive the request on their device to accept.
How To Battle A Friend
To battle a friend, head over to the battle tab, which you can find on the bottom bar by tapping the icon with two cards clashing together.
Before you can engage in any battles, you need to be at least level three, complete the first six sections of the battle guide, and finish one solo battle. This is required to unlock friend battles and all other battle modes. You can access the guide by clicking the ‘Guide’ button in the lower-left corner of the battle screen.
Once you’re ready, you can tap the ‘Versus’ button on the left side of the screen. From there, click the ‘Private Match’ button, also on the left side of the screen.
At the top, there is a section where you can enter a password. Both you and your friend will need to enter the same chosen word or phrase. We recommend using ‘TheGamer’, but we’re biased. Truthfully, anything you both decide on will work, as long as it is under ten characters and isn’t considered vulgar by the game’s restrictions.
You’ll both need to enter the code within about 30 seconds of each other. If either party waits too long, the matchmaking will cancel, and you’ll need to try again.
Once both parties successfully enter the same code, you’ll be matchmaked, and you can start a battle with each other.
Once you have a few battles between a friend, you can look at your battle stats with them by clicking their username in the friend tab in the social tab and selecting the ‘Battle record’ button.
How To Wonder Pick With A Friend
Once you’ve added a friend, you can Wonder Pick with them. If they’ve recently opened any booster packs, their pulls will automatically appear at the top of your Wonder Pick list.
This makes it easy to see what they’ve snagged and gives you a chance to spend some of your Wonder Stamina on their latest pulls — especially if you know they’ve pulled something rare or exciting. Though, you’ll only have two hours to do so after they’ve pulled it.
