How to unlock TAQ Evolvere in MW3 & Warzone Season 1 Reloaded
The TAQ Evolvere LMG is one of two new weapons coming to MW3 and Warzone with the Season 1 Reloaded update. Here’s how to unlock the TAQ Evolvere in Warzone and Modern Warfare 3.
Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone players have had several new weapons to try since Season 1 rolled around, including the powerful RAM-7 and the XRK Stalker. With each major update, the arsenal of weapons at your disposal in MW3 and Warzone is set to grow and that remains true for Season 1 Reloaded.
The mid-season update will bring two new weapons to Warzone and Modern Warfare 3, with one of them being the TAQ Evolvere LMG.
Here’s what you need to know to get the TAQ Evolvere when it makes its way to Warzone and MW3.
How to unlock TAQ Evolvere in Warzone & MW3
The Modern Warfare 3 and Warzone devs have yet to reveal how to unlock the TAQ Evolvere, but given that it won’t be via the Armory Unlock system, we expect it to be part of the Battle Pass’ Classified Tier.
When new weapons are added with a mid-season update, players can usually unlock them via the Armory Unlock system like the HRM-9, or through a Classified Tier of the Battle Pass like the Lachmann Shroud.

If the TAQ Evolvere is introduced to the Battle Pass with the Classified Tier, then players might also be required to complete an unlock challenge for the weapon. As soon as more information is revealed, we’ll be sure to let you know.
According to the devs, the TAQ Evolvere has the potential to be MW3 and Warzone’s most versatile LMG yet: “An advanced, multi-caliber LMG capable of firing 7.62 or 5.56 with minimal adjustments to the weapon. Versatile and exceptionally lethal in the right hands.”
Weapons from the TAQ family have been powerful options recently. From MW2’s TAQ-56 to MW3’s TAQ Eradicator, which is currently a top pick in Warzone, the TAQ Evolvere has high expectations to meet.
