- Sengodai is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder where you build your deck and explore the ever-changing world.
- The game offers a Campaign mode with 5 worlds, 20+ Gokai Cards, 40+ Spell Cards, 5 Elemental Gods, and more.
- It will launch simultaneously on both platforms with an exclusive discount.
Tsunoa Games, known for Katana Dragon and more, has revealed its latest tactical roguelike deckbuilder, Sengodai, scheduled to launch on Android and PC on December 12, 2025. The game is now open for pre-registration; however, there are no details yet on the iOS launch.
Build your own Gokai monsters squad and take on the Cursed Gods
Looks like Tsunoa Games is back with a new indie title, this time diving into the roguelike deckbuilder space with Sengodai. The Katana Dragon-like Japanese visual style immediately caught my attention, and unlike that title, here you can build your own Gokai monster team instead of fighting them.
For me, this one has solid potential mainly because of how every run feels different, offering new paths to choose from with each attempt. And, you can collect more than 20 Gokai cards, battle unique enemies, and use powerful spells to take on the Cursed Gods. Oh, you can also upgrade these cards to create better synergies with the Elemental Gods.
And, I’m totally down to try the campaign mode and explore all five worlds there, while obviously enjoying the land conquest duels. Moreover, the 5 Elemental Gods do look cool in both design and their unique playstyles and skills, at least to me. All in all, this one feels promising, with over 40 Spell Cards, randomly-generated world paths, and more.
Sengodai is scheduled to launch on Android and PC on December 12, 2025. You can now pre-register for the game via your respective Google Play Store. And stay tuned for updates regarding the iOS launch.
