Honor of Kings wrapped up its ongoing Chinese event, King Pro League (KPL) 2025, today, and also became a part of history by making a new Guinness World Record during the Grand Finals. The closing ceremony at China’s National Stadium experienced an unprecedented attendance of 62,196, making it the largest gathering in any esports event worldwide.
The stadium has a capacity of 80,000 viewers. Almost the entire event was decorated with fancy elements, and an opening ceremony also took place before the final. The tickets were mostly sold out, and commentators began discussing attendance from the beginning of the game.

The event was organized by both Level Infinite and TiMi Studios. Tickets for the grand finals were sold out just after the organizers released them online. With a grand prize of ¥20,000,000 ($2,810,000) for the champion, this is also one of the highest among all existing tournaments to date.
The first game, just after the start, faced a few troubles, and after onsite troubleshooting, it resumed, and players continued showcasing their skills and strategy. However, AG Super Play dominated the field and became the champion by a scoreline of 4-1 after defeating Dragon Ranger Gaming.
Just weeks ago, the game celebrated its 10th anniversary in style. And, just after the celebration, the fans now get another milestone marked to celebrate again. Truly, the game is changing the whole of mobile esports both in China and outside it.
