eFootball 2025 Show Time Long-reach Tackle (Saliba, Valverde, Kounde) pack review

eFootball 2025 Show Time Long-reach Tackle pack
  • eFootball 2025 brings the latest Show Time Long-reach Tackle skill and a pack.
  • The pack features Saliba, Valverde, and Kounde alongside 8 featured cards in a 150-player pack.

eFootball 2025 has released a new Show Time skill and again, we have new player picks. The leaks have indeed come true and one ST skill now live, while we wait for the other one. Long-reach Tackle pack features William Saliba, Federico Valverde, and Jules Kounde in eFootball 2025.

Each of these players brings a unique defensive presence along with the Show Time skill. Let’s dive into the stats and see who comes out on top while answering the question of whether they are worth your coins.

All three Show Time cards get the same skill.

William Saliba

  • Position: CB
  • Playing Style: Build Up
  • Showtime Skill: Long-reach Tackle

Saliba’s card is built for defensive purists. He brings in that classic Build Up style, but don’t let that fool you, this guy is aggressive when needed. Still, there’s something so calm and composed about how he plays that you never feel like he’s out of position.

His tackling numbers are scary good, and he’s a rock when it comes to reading the game. While not the quickest to turn, his acceleration and speed are insane for a CB of his height. Physically, he’s got that elite-level strength that complements his clean tackles.

Add that to his size and tall presence, and you’ve got yourself a proper wall at the back. Those aerial numbers aren’t that great, sure, but I see no problem in winning headers with that good jump number.

Federico Valverde

  • Position: CMF
  • Playing Style: Destroyer
  • Showtime Skill: Long-reach Tackle

One of the best all-rounder cards one can get, compared with Matthaus, most of the time, Valverde is the kind of card that doesn’t just fill a position. He is a super strong utility player, and with this playstyle and ST skill, he can fill roles in multiple defensive positions.

Speaking about him purely as a CMF, from what I experienced from pulling him from the pack, is that ball control and passing are more than what the stats say. What I liked about him was how effortlessly he switches from winning the ball to launching an attack.

With high stamina and a playstyle that just screams non-stop pressing, Valverde covers absurd ground. His defending stats are solid too, meaning he’s as likely to stop a counter as he is to lead one. I liked his build as an RB to utilize his defensive prowess for that playstyle. At CB, he is good and playable with the right build and position boost.

Jules Kounde

  • Position: RB
  • Playing Style: Offensive Fullback
  • Showtime Skill: Long-reach Tackle

One of my favourites in real-life, Kounde got a decent card here, although not on the OP side. While having a solid combination of speed and strength with good offensive numbers, he’s every bit a defender who can shift roles and still excel.

That reflects when you train him as a CB, which picks up to those 105-106 stats. Honestly, he would be a superb ball-playing CB here, a role which he was in at the start of his career. His stamina is insane, be it any card, you’ll barely see this guy gas out over 90 minutes.

He’s got a good cross in him, and passing is good for his position. Defensively, too, he’s sharp, always focused, and reacts well in 1v1 situations. His tackling and positioning are as reliable as they come, and that aerial presence is surprisingly strong despite his height. Would have loved a Defensive Fullback version here.

The only problem one will have with Show Time cards is that, unlike Epic and Big Time, you don’t have a permanent B form. But that’s an advantage sometimes too, as you might get A form. Speaking strictly of these three, I haven’t been able to exactly pinpoint the advantages of the new ST skill yet, but I can tell you, you can’t go wrong with any of these picks.

The reason is that these three are some of the most consistent players out there. Saliba in here must be your choice. A rapid tall CB with immense defensive numbers shouldn’t be missed, so go for him if you need a defender. The other two come next, both are good cards.
