is a management sim with an addictive twist. As the drug dealer of the humble town of Hyland Park, product is in demand and it’s up to the player to supply it. However, it’s not just the substances that make money fast, although that’s the most obvious way to get rich quick.
Making money in this game is part of the point, of course, and the progression that the main character works through is often defined by how much money they make. It’s not difficult to make money selling drugs, but there are a few ways to make the process faster, easier, and more fun.

Give Stuff Away
Think Of It As An Investment
The “stuff” in this scenario is the free samples that the main character uses to impress and attract new customers. When meeting a potential client, one of the dialogue options includes the suggestion that they get a free sample, according to their personal preferences.
Even if the sample given isn’t exactly what they want, as long as the product is of good quality, there’s an excellent chance they’ll like it and agree to call you again. Once a client is on the player’s phone conatct list, they can either complete larger deals with them that are arranged in advance, or sell to them on the street if they run into them by chance.

Come To Collect
Visit Dealers Often
After the product starts to move, the protagonist will hire a few dealers to help them serve their growing clientele and give them more time for growing and packaging. It’s easy to get caught up in the cooking and cleaning part of the business and forget to visit the dealers.
Waiting a long time means the money will build up, which isn’t a problem, but when it comes time to collect, the main character should be prepared to have a safe place ready to stash a fat wad of illicit cash. This is when having a car or using a drop box comes in handy, because there’s no point in working for that money just for a thug or cop to take it.
4
Make Friends To Influence People
New Clients Means New Connections
This isn’t exactly the kind of business that gets advertised in the newspaper or on Facebook Marketplace, but if the player wants to get rich and become a Kingpin, they have to find some way to grow their base. Word of mouth might take more time and involve more work, but like every mafia boss knows, it’s the best way to hustle and get more business.
Networking with clients and their mutual friends not only makes more money for the player in the form of new customers, but also puts them in contact with potential employees and improves their reputation around town. More connections mean growing the business, and it’s also a requirement for accessing the Warehouse, the headquarters of Hyland Park’s underground marketplace.

Use That Mixer
More Ingredients Is More Money
By the time Uncle Nelson offers the player the use of a mixer, they’re making enough money with high-quality cannabis to ignore it at first. However, it’s better to get started sooner rather than later and discover as many lucrative mixing recipes as possible.

This Schedule 1 mixing guide will explain how to get all 34 effects in the game and where to get all of the required ingredients.
Mixing isn’t just a way to create expensive, strong, and even addictive strains, it’s also a way to make any cheap or low-quality weed better and more expensive. When players are experimenting, not everything they create will be a winner, but it can still be used as a sample or improvised street sale, making it profitable either way.
2
Invest In Transportation
Skateboards And Automobiles
Hyland Park isn’t a big place. When the player first gets their start in business, they only have a few city blocks to cover, and a vehicle isn’t required. Once business starts booming, however, other parts of the city will open up and the player needs a way to reach their clients and other important locations.
Other than walking, there are two other choices for transportation available to the player: either a skateboard or a car. There’s nothing to keep the player from buying one of each, and since the skateboard is cheaper, it’s often the first one that players invest in. The Shred Shack is conveniently located almost across from the Chinese Restaurant, and the cheapest board is only $75, well worth the cost of a few decent deals.
A car is bigger and more cumbersome, but is faster and has another impotant advantage in the form of storage space and a place to hide product from law enforcement. Hyland Auto is on the edge of town, and they sell a range of vehicles that vary in price, speed, and number of inventory slots.

Cash For Trash
A Handy Way To Stay Liquid
Those green Cash For Trash bins aren’t just variations on regular garbage cans, they’ll actually give out paper money in exchage for litter. It has nothing to do with the business of mixing and selling drugs, but it is a way to make a few extra dollars. Early in the game, when the player is first starting out, they won’t have the petty cash to buy basic essentials like garbage bags and potting soil. Some quick clean-up can yield a small amount of cash in a pinch.
Investing in a Trash Grabber, which is available at the game’s earliest levels of Street Rat, is a worthwhile investment at this point, even though there are a lot of other things the player needs to buy. It costs only $25, and can make the player a lot more than that for just a few minutes of honest work. It’s also a useful tool for cleaning up any workplace interiors later in the game.
