As of March, Supercell’s Clash Royale has rolled out three exciting weekly events, each bringing something unique—whether it’s Hunter Evolution Draft, Evolutions Mayhem, or the brand-new Champion Triple Draft. To wrap up the month, the devs have dropped another action-packed event: Mirror, Mirror.
This event gives both players the exact same deck, making it all about skill and strategy. You’ll need to outplay your opponent to win. Like other events, playing in Mirror, Mirror earns you seasonal tokens, which you can trade for rewards like Evolution Shards, Coin Bags, Banners, and more. This guide will show you how to play and win in the Mirror, Mirror event in Clash Royale.

Clash Royale’s Mirror, Mirror Event, Explained
In Clash Royale, Mirror, Mirror is a limited-time event running from March 24 to March 31. As the name suggests, both players get the same deck of eight cards, including the same starting hand. This means if there’s a low-elixir card in the deck, it’ll cycle quickly for both of you, while high-elixir cards will take longer to load.
The deck isn’t pre-made, but one card is guaranteed in every battle—the Mirror card. This epic card lets you play your last used card twice, adding a layer of unpredictability to fights, so you can get an edge over your opponent. You’ll also get an Evolution card, which will cycle twice to evolve (or more, depending on its build). The event includes all card types — ground troops, air units, buildings, and spells — so winning comes down to how well you play your strategy.
To make things even more exciting, the Mirror, Mirror Challenge will run from March 28 to March 31, giving players another chance to test their skills. Here are some tips for winning the Mirror, Mirror Event in Clash Royale.
- First, decide whether you want to play offensively or defensively. If you’re taking the lead, deploy strong troops (preferably ranged attackers) and back them up with support cards to clear incoming enemies. On the other hand, if you’re playing defensively, use troops that deal heavy damage (e.g., counter air units with ranged or air troops and ground troops with single-target melee or air units).
- Don’t overlook spells or low-damage cards. Since all cards in Mirror, Mirror battles are set to high levels. These cards can chip away at the opponent’s HP fast. Cards like Arrows, Bats, Fireball, Giant Snowball, Goblin Curse, Fire Spirit, Bomber, and Skeletons can be surprisingly effective.
- A good strategy is to engage the enemy on one side while pushing the other tower with beatdown troops. With only three minutes per match, bringing down your opponent’s towers first should be your top priority.
- Lastly, make the most of your Mirror card and Evolution card. Your Evolution units will be your strongest assets, and their supercharged abilities can help wipe out enemy troops faster.
