Miri Fajta Is The Most Hated Side Quest In Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Deliverance 2 Fans Are Fed Up With Constantly Changing Clothes

Summary

  • Fans agree that Miri Fajta is the most annoying side quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.
  • Annoying fetch-quest structure makes it quite boring.
  • Some players abandoned the quest in frustration and even resorted to violence against the Voivode.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is a massive game, and it just got bigger thanks to patch 1.2. The game has a great story and some memorable characters, the open world of Bohemia is stunning, and the combat system is quite engaging. However, like most games, this one too has its low points. Given the number of side quests Henry can get up to, some of them are unfortunately just glorified fetch quests.

Just when you thought you were out, they pull you back in.

Of course, there are some great ones without a doubt, but quite a few of them are just about retrieving items or killing NPCs and returning for a reward. While that’s fine if you want to make a quick few Groschen, one side quest stands apart as the most annoying. It seems everyone agrees Miri Fajta is the most annoying quest in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2.

Errand Boy Henry

Miri Fajta is a side quest you can pick up in the nomad camp in the Trotsky region. The Voivode’s daughter is missing and Henry is tasked with finding her. It turns out that she has actually run away, and eventually, Henry has to play peacemaker. While that’s not such a bad thing, the way in which he’s asked to do it involves a lot of walking and talking.

As Old-Author-4930 pointed out on Reddit, “The whole quest is” Go find my daughter! Go back and tell my dad that I need his amulet! Save my son then I’ll give you my amulet! Oh nevermind I need it since I don’t have my safe conduct, go and get it back from my daughter! You got it back? I’m not exchanging it, play dice with me and I’ll have a copious amount of luck which will make you tear your hair out for 3 hours!”

While that’s not exactly succinctly put, the whole quest does feel like an unnecessary back-and-forth fetch quest loop. Other players agreed with the sentiment, saying, “The end is wholesome, but the rewards is a lump of lard. The camp still treats you like a stranger, you can’t even eat the soup they cook.” Not letting you eat out of the community pot is just plain rude.

“The entire questline for the nomads is just a huge scam on Henry,” says another comment. “You get some cutscenes to watch, but that is about it, maybe a bed to use. But no real meaningful reward gameplay wise for doing this quest.”

It seems some players got too annoyed to even continue the quest. “I ended up getting annoyed with Voivode and beating him up for the bracelet, which caused a chain of events that left me branded,” said one frustrated player.

It all works out in the end though, Henry makes the Voicode and his daughter bury the hatchet and can feel good about himself. But feeling good about himself can’t help against bandits, can it? They could have given him a new horse at least.
