After meeting Tophat and Big Challenges in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, your game will open up to a bunch of new quests and activities. One questline that you’ll come across is given by the pair, starting with Island Champions. This questline involves several steps requiring you to locate unique items or hidden areas.

Once you’ve completed the first quest (simply called Island Champions) and Magma Master, you’ll be able to start Secret Haunts. This quest can be a bit tricky, as the exact locations you need to be at aren’t specified. In this guide, we’ll cover how to complete Hello Kitty Island Adventure and find all three photo locations.
How To Start Secret Haunts
To start Secret Haunts, you will need to wait one day after completing Magma Master. This is typical; each quest in this line requires you to wait one day to start the following portion. Once a day has passed, head to Tophat on the beach to start Secret Haunts.
From here, everyone will go to the Spooky Swamp. At this point, you just need to head here to where everyone is standing, which is just left of the Fwishing Well. Talk to Tophat, and after a short conversation, Kuromi will tell you about the challenge.
Your ultimate goal is to find the location shown in three pictures that Kuromi will present to you.
Secret Haunts Picture Locations
Kuromi will show you the first image, and you’ll then set off to go find it. Below, you can see each image, its location, and where to stand in order to complete the step.
If you need to look at the picture again, just talk to Kuromi.
Picture One
The first picture looks a bit warped, but this is actually the right entrance of the graveyard. This spot happens to be close to where you are already. Standing at the front of the Fwishing Well, head to the left. You’ll come across a stone fence and a path that forks, going around a large tree.
This is the tree from the picture that Kuromi showed you. Stand to the right of the tree and take a picture. You don’t need to pose or adjust the angle; just snap a pic and head back to Kuromi.
Picture Two
After speaking with Kuromi, she will show you the second picture. This one is a bit more confusing to look at, but getting there isn’t too difficult. Starting from the Spooky Swamp mailbox (near the Fwishing Well), head north. Once you cross the wooden bridge, you’ll be at a four-way intersection.
At this point, continue going north on the stone path. Cross over the Ghost Tours platform, continuing to go north on the path. When the stone path comes to an end, you’ll see a large tree with no leaves to your northwest.
Stand directly to the right of this tree and take a picture. This should complete the step, and you can now head back to Kuromi for the final picture of the quest.
Picture Three
For the final picture, Kuromi will mention that she saved the hardest for last. This isn’t really the case, as the picture is obviously taken in the Nature Preserve. Simply head here and take a picture inside the entryway.
After doing so, head back to Kuromi for a final time.
How To Complete Secret Haunts
After speaking with everyone, the quest will be finished! At this point, you’ll need to wait one day in order to complete the next quest, which is called Chococat’s Tremendous Trivia.
