How To Heal
The only way to heal in Dead Rails is to use pre-purchased consumables. You can buy them in the Doctor’s building, and there are only two items in total. Below you will find full information about these consumables, their effects, and prices:

Considering that you will be exploring a lot in Dead Rails, be sure to stock up on both Bandages and Snake Oil. You don’t have to keep them in your inventory, but instead, you can put them somewhere in the cargo area of the train.
Just don’t forget to take them with you when you go to the zombies, because they can kill you in a few hits.
How To Revive Teammates
If you play in a team, someone will probably die sooner or later. Unlike playing alone, this is not a game over, because a survivor can revive any of their teammates. If you are lucky enough to survive, all you need to revive your partner is a Bandage.
To do so, simply approach your partner with this consumable in hand and interact with their corpse.
It is important that the player you want to revive is online, otherwise it will not work. If done correctly, your teammate will revive as soon as you use a Bandage.
