You’ll need various items and herbs to craft food and potions in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. However, some potions need more than the nettles, belladonna, and thistle you normally require. For some, you’ll need to add the sweetness of honey.

Honey is also a great food item to raise Henry’s nourishment and stop any hunger. It doesn’t need to be cooked to be eaten, but it’s pretty rare. You need to go to some specific places to buy it, or find it for free. Once you know where to go, you can have an unlimited supply of honey for whenever you need it.

How To Get Honey

Buying honey is a bit trickier than buying other food items in Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2. Innkeepers, Grocers, Bakers, and other merchants you’d expect to sell it don’t. Instead, you’ll find random traders selling it.

If you head to Troskowitz, along the main road through the village, you’ll find Trader Jurg Thomel in a room. You can speak to him and buy two honey off him for 3.1 Groschen each.

Alternatively, you can loot honey from bee hives around the map. The best place to go is the farm south east of Troskowitz, halfway to the coachman who takes you to Kuttenberg.

To the right of the farmhouse, by the edge of the forest, you’ll find two hives, with eight and ten honey in them. Grab it and head off. The honey will replenish over time, so you can come back whenever you need more.

What To Use Honey For

Once you have honey, the best thing to do is just eat it to replenish your nourishment. You’ll get +31 nourishment for each one you eat, which is more than most food items.

Alternatively, you can use honey in any potions recipes you need it for. Just grab some and head to an Alchemy bench to use it.
