In the upper Bracket Finals, G2 Esports defeated EDward Gaming. This result pushed EDward Gaming into the lower bracket finals, where they will face either T1 or Team Vitality. Following the game, EDward Gaming joined the media at the post-match press conference.

One thing to note was that ZmjjKK didn’t look happy after the loss. At times, the player had his hand in his head. When asked about the adaptations G2 made to the EDward Gaming playstyle and how it affected them, he stated the following:

“During the first map with G2, they were good at reading us and our strategies. But in this game, they adapted to us even faster. They had studied us.”

G2 Esports, on the other hand, were on cloud9 as they entered the press conference. When asked about what went down during the last round of Lotus, Leaf, and Valyn stated the following:

“At the beginning of the round, we saw them fight B and C. Someone said that KangKang might be using the operator in A. We then used our Viper wall and ran through the door.”

Leaf, on the other hand, wasn’t kinder with his words.

“I just sat there with my viper ultimate out. We fight stairs. We went one for one. They sped up with their breach ult, and I dodged it. They all ran in one by one, like headless chickens.”
