Fortnite has introduced a ton of new mechanics this season, but one of the biggest changes is the Fortnite Black Market locations. It’s a whole new way to deal with the mythics in-game, and it adds an extra step to your objectives after blowing open a vault. If you want to use the best loot this season, you’ll need to go to the Black Market Locations.
Rather than Mythics being dropped as you get into a vault, there’s now a bit of freedom. Players instead get a new currency. Which they can then redeem for a mythic of their choice. The Black Market locations offer some other high level loot, which you don’t need to take out a vault for get too. They’re one of the most important loot locations in Fortnite Chapter 6 Season 2. This is where you’ll find them, the how you can collect your better weapons.

What are the Fortnite Black Market Locations?
The new Fortnite Black Market locations are a new take on vaults, or a shop. In Fortnite lore, they’re underground locations run by the criminal underworld. Offering all kinds of things for sale, but only accepting payment in a strange currency.
In terms of how the game actually plays, It’s a spot you go to where you can trade in dill bits and gold for high level loot. Each offers a mythic weapon, and other displays. However, there’s some extra bonuses too.
The Fortnite Black Market Locations each offer specific loot. It isn’t randomized. If you want to consistently get the right loot, you’ll need to head to the same Black Market locations each game.

Where Are They?
There are three Fortnite Black Market locations on the map this season! Each is relatively close to one of the vault locations. Although, since so many are concentrated in the middle of the map, some of the night markets aren’t ideally located. These are the spots where you can find them:
- Near Masked Meadows
- Above Crime City
- Below Magic Mosses
In each of these, you’ll be able to get inside by looking for the secret entrance. Some have tunnels entrances further away, along with one directly on top. The most direct entry is located in the house above the Black Market. You’ve just got to find the staircase going down a few levels. They’re relatively close to good landing locations too.
What’s Inside the Fortnite Black Market Locations?

Once you actually get inside the Fortnite Black Market locations, you’ll find a lot of loot. The biggest appeal is the Mythic. This is the Mythic that each offer:
- Masked Meadows – Sniper
- Crime City – Pump Shotgun
- Magic Mosses – Collateral Damage AR
Alongside that, there’s more displays which offer high level weapons. Not quite mythics but great loot. A lot of these are sold for gold too, so it’ll be easier to get a full loadout of high-rarity or the best Fortnite weapons. There’s also an NPC hidden in each which offers a rift, so an easy escape in every game. Great if someone is chasing you all the way from the vault to the Black Market to try and steal your loot.
