There are many new adventures to seek out in Infinity Nikki‘s Eerie Season that can lead to all sorts of rewards. While the obvious focal point of the season is Philomia’s haunted castle in the southern reaches of Breezy Meadow, there are still plenty of quests to find locally around Florawish as well.
One such quest in Infinity Nikki is the Strange Hissing Streetlamp quest, which briefly reunites Nikki with the Croakers from the Well of Fortune. How to Unlock the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest in Infinity Nikki
To unlock the Strange Hissing Streetlamp quest in Infinity Nikki, you will first need to complete the following Eerie Season quests:
- In the Depths of Night (Exclusive quest) – This becomes available after completing the ‘Mysterious Prelude’ 1.3 quest at the Stylist’s Guild in Florawish
- The Song of the Lost (Event quest) – This becomes available after completing the ‘Mysterious Prelude’ 1.3 quest and then the ‘In the Depths of Night’ quest
Once those are done, go to your Events Menu and then select the ‘Tales of Mystery’ tab. Between the two categories of quests, pick ‘Eerie Encounters.’ Once there, you should see the ‘Strange Hissing Streetlamp’ quest at the top of the list.
Select it to track the starting point of the quest, which you will find right in Florawish. Make your way (or teleport via the respective Warp Spire) to the Mayor’s Residence. Then, head directly north until you’re on the path in front of a two-story house with a lamp post next to the entrance. The Strange Hissing Streetlamp quest should then automatically unlock for you.
How to Complete the Strange Hissing Streetlamp Quest in Infinity Nikki
To complete the Strange Hissing Streetlamp quest in Infinity Nikki, you first need to speak with the Croaker. They can be found hanging out near the house where there is a broken streetlamp giving off sparks. The Croaker will explain that they’ve tried to fix the lamp post many times, but it keeps breaking afterward.

Confident as ever, Nikki volunteers to try and fix the streetlamp, which is a throwback to the Croaker’s Whisper event that had Nikki fixing broken streetlamps all over Florawish. While you don’t necessarily need the Froggy Fashion outfit from that event to pull this off, you need to equip your Electrician ability. You can do so via ‘Ability Setup’ in your Wardrobe menu if need be.
Once you have it ready, select it on your ability wheel, and the broken streetlamp will glow green. Approach and use your ability to start the wire mini-puzzle. Your solution should look like the one shown above.
This makes the problem appear solved, but as soon as you walk away from the streetlamp, it will start sparking again, just as the Croaker described. When this happens, approach the streetlamp again and complete the exact same mini-puzzle. Walk away from the streetlamp until it sparks yet again, to the Croaker’s dismay.
Once more, complete the same mini-puzzle to discover that the third time’s the charm. The lamp post will now be fixed for sure, and the Croaker will offer the following rewards for your efforts:
The quest will then be checked off as complete in your ‘Tales of Mystery’ tab. Make sure not to miss any of the other quests during your eerie adventures.
