What Are Yields?
As your civilization grows from the dawn of man to a near-futuristic society, you’ll earn yields, which are resources that contribute to the welfare of your civ, from your research endeavors to your citizens’ happiness.
All in all, there are seven basic types of yields in Civilization that you’ll want to keep track of.
How To Add Yields
There are a few specific ways to generate each yield in Civilization 7, with various results depending on your method and leader.
- Buildings that add to the yield.
- Yield tile improvements and resources.
- Natural and man-made Wonders.

Though a more roundabout way to improve yields, certain social policies or other effects might increase your civ’s happiness, culture, or even science if you gain access to certain luxury resources via trading.
