How To Romance Nora In The Past
While romance isn’t explicit in Tape 1 of Lost Records: Bloom & Rage, there’s definitely chemistry between several of the characters. Swann can grow close to Nora by making the right decisions.
In general, you’ll want to support Nora’s choices and tastes, but be true to yourself. Almost every chapter presents opportunities to get closer to Nora, but we’ve highlighted the best ones to build your summer fling.
If you have the option to give Nora a gift or take her suggestions, do it more often than not.
By the end of Tape 1, Nora from the past will be at one of four levels:
- We’re cool
- New friend
- BFFs
- Something more…
While it’s unclear how this impacts the ending, it’s clear that your relationships shape your experiences.
Chapter 6 – The First Night
When you search the forgotten playground for Autumn’s keys in chapter six, you can film Nora on the swings first. DOing this will make her happy and give you a quiet moment together.
Later, go over and talk with her by the puddle. Below is the conversation you’ll have.

Chapter 17 – Nora Malakian, 1995
In this chapter, you’ll spend the whole time interviewing Nora. Try to avoid asking questions that are too personal or pry into uncomfortable areas of her life. Below are your best choices:

You’ll get the chance to pick a new piercing for Nora, too! You can persuade her to get a lip piercing, eyebrow piercing, or nose piercing. Alternatively, you can tell her that getting a piercing is too much, and she’ll refrain from getting another one.
Pick whichever is your favorite, as Nora will end up going with your choice.
Chapter 20 – Double Dare
When Kat asks Nora who she wants to be handcuffed to forever, make sure to volunteer and follow up with the comment that it would be like you’re married. This will earn you additional points with Nora.
Nora will already have Swann in mind, but the confirmation makes it that much sweeter.
When Nora from the present asks about truth or dare, tell them that she asked you about your crush. From here, you can start describing Nora to hint at Swann’s feelings.

Chapter 24 – Riot Grrrls
In this chapter, if you’ve become something more with Nora, she’ll do your makeup for the concert. Pick whichever style you like. Nora will do her best to make Swann look stunning.
Once she’s done, she’ll ask you to lean in close. Don’t respond right away. Wait for the kiss option to come up and select it. While the two won’t kiss, they share a moment together that solidifies their mutual interest.
If you respond with anything else, you’ll lose points with Nora.
How To Reconnect With Nora In The Present
When you meet with Nora 27 years after the events of 1995, things couldn’t be more different. While you’re all grown up, you’re the same two people at your cores, but Nora has done a lot of growing up.
Here, you’ll need to act differently and make more mature decisions. Despite trying to get to the bottom of things surrounding the mysterious box, don’t push Nora at the bar.
It’s clear she doesn’t want to talk about what happened without warming up and having a few drinks first, so don’t pry into the past. Instead, indulge her whims to delay the inevitable and be supportive. She’ll open up when she’s ready.
By the end of Tape 1, Nora will be at one of three levels:
- Former friends
- Reacquainted
- Reconnected
It’ll be difficult to get Nora up to the Reconnected status since she arrives so late in Tape 1, so stay on her good side from the moment she arrives until you finish chapter 25.
