As you play, you’ll often need to hunt for specific ingredients, whether for personal use or quests. But finding what you need isn’t always easy. If you’re looking for Marigold, this guide will help you track it down.
Where To Find Marigold
Marigold is an alchemy ingredient that can be combined with other resources to brew potions and concoctions.
Fortunately, there are multiple ways to obtain it, either by finding it in the open world or purchasing it from certain merchants.
This plant thrives in fertile soil, often growing on rubble piles, dung, and abundantly in pastures. Because of this, you will likely encounter it in various locations.
The most obvious and easiest place to find Marigold is the Herb Garden located just east of Trosky Castle in the Torsky map.
This small garden contains a variety of herbs, but you should look for golden-colored flowers among them. They are usually found in a separate section of the garden.
Another good location in the Trosky region is inside the village of Tachov, just to the east. There, you will find another Herb Garden similar to the previous one, where you can pick some Marigold.
A great additional spot is at Herbalist Barnaby’s home, located far north of Trosky Castle.
Barnaby resides in a small, secluded house, and outside his door, you’ll find a small garden with a few Marigold plants.
Where To Buy Marigold
The best option is to buy Marigold instead of going through the hassle of finding it. Since it is fairly cheap, you can easily purchase a good amount whenever needed.
- Apothecary Emmerich: Located southwest of Troskowitz, Emmerich sells Dried Marigold, which functions the same as fresh Marigold but lasts longer.
- Kuttenberg Apothecary: Another seller offering dried Marigold can be found west of the Fountain in the Kuttenberg settlement. Like Emmerich, this Apothecary stocks the dried version.
There is also a chance that some Herbalists might have the fresh Marigold for sale, though we couldn’t find one ourselves.
