Jewels are one of the most important parts of a complete build in Path of Exile 2, and unique Jewels are some of the most valuable drops in the entire game. Almost all Unique Jewels in the game can only be obtained by defeating a pinnacle endgame boss at the highest possible difficulty. Even then, they are almost never guaranteed to drop.
Obtaining unique Jewels is always great news because even if a player doesn’t have a use for them for their own build, they can always put them up for sale on the official trade site and see the Divine Orbs roll in. Naturally, obtaining such powerful items is not easy and requires patience, effort, and a little bit of luck.

How to Reach Difficulty 4 Pinnacle Boss Fights in PoE 2
A lot of the unique Jewels available in PoE 2 require the player to defeat bosses at their highest tier of difficulty, called Difficulty 4. The process to reach it is simple.
- Defeat the boss at its base difficulty to earn +2 Atlas Points for that section of the Atlas (Breach, Expedition/Delirium/Ritual/Arbiter).
- Allocate the points to unlock +1 to Boss Difficulty.
- Defeat the boss at +1 Difficulty to earn +2 Atlas points again.
- Allocate the points to unlock +1 to Boss Difficulty.
- Repeat until you unlock Difficulty 4.
The Trialmaster and Zarokh, the Temporal each have only one difficulty level. However, Zarokh’s difficulty setting is indirectly increased through the use of unique relics.
