After defeating Luiseach, the Iron Witch, you should be ready to face an even more tough boss fight. The next fight that awaits you features four different bosses. You would have to defeat all four combat puppets in order to proceed. Here, we will tell you how to beat each one of the Combat Puppets easily.

Before you head into the fight, you should equip Volcanic, Seeker, and Barrage. These skills will deal massive amounts of damage, making the fight a lot easier for you. The Volcanic ability deals a lot of damage and even inflicts a Blaze status effect on the enemy. You should also equip Krios as the Totem to restore all of your HP one time when you are below 15 percent health.

How To Beat The Combat Puppets

You will have to fight three combat puppets in order to reach the main one. Each fight will get tougher as you proceed, but after defeating one, you will get a heal back. So, you don’t have to do a perfect execution in order to win this fight; using one heal per fight won’t be a problem.

How To Defeat Combat Puppet No. 20

No. 20 will kick in front of him. This is a slow move.

You can see this move coming, so reacting to it is pretty simple. Dodge it and use melee attacks.

Slash

The boss will quickly use his sword to slash.

This attack is pretty fast but reactive. After dodging it, do not attack the boss, as he will likely follow up with another attack.

Fire Swirl

Following the Slash attack, the boss is likely to use the Fire Swirl move to create a tornado around him.

After No. 20 uses his Slash, stay behind, as it may use Fire Swirl in the next window. So, stay away and use your Barrage skill.

Combat Puppet No. 20 won’t be very difficult as this boss is pretty simple to figure out. You may not be able to beat all the bosses with just a couple of tries, so eventually, you will be able to beat this boss without taking a hit. Just be wary of its Fire Swirl attack, as it deals massive damage.

Single Ice Bomb

The boss will throw a single ice bomb.

Double Slash Attack

No. 14 will use slash twice, with the second one being a little delayed.

Dodge the first slash, wait for a little while, and then dodge the second one. After that, hit the boss with your melee attacks.

Single Projectile Throw

Usually, the boss will throw a single projectile toward you as soon as the fight starts.

Dodge it while making your way to the boss.

Projectiles Throw

The boss will jump in the air and shoot three projectiles.

These projectiles won’t target you, so usually, staying where you are will be enough to dodge them.

Combat Puppet No. 14 may be a problem as this boss is agile and would move a lot. However, due to that, this boss’s posture can be broken pretty easily, so you should aim for that. Be aware of the Ice Bombs and the Double Slash attack.

No. 14 is agile, so you can break its stance/posture pretty easily. Use the Barrage, Volcanic, and Seeker skills to break the boss’s stance for some free damage.

How To Defeat Combat Puppet No. 56

The boss will charge his spear and thrust toward you.

No. 56 will likely use this attack at the start, so be ready to dodge it, as it is pretty delayed.

Spear Thrusts

The boss will thrust the spear thrice.

Dodge the first thrust and go to the other side to deal some damage. Running away is also an option, but that way, you won’t be able to get any free damage.

Spear Thrusts And Slam

The boss will thrust the spear twice, followed by a ground slam that will cause an AoE explosion where you are standing.

Dodge the first thrust and then run away. When No. 56 slams the spear on the ground, you should jump and dash to avoid the attack.

Spear Spin

No. 56 will usually spin his spear when you are near him.

You are likely to get hit by this attack if you’re too close to the boss. So, dash twice in order to get out of the range.

Combat Puppet No. 56 is a troublesome opponent mainly because of your previous fight. This boss’s attacks are extremely delayed, throwing you off the rhythm. His Charged Spear Thrust can deal a tremendous amount of damage and may be difficult to dodge as it is a delayed attack.

Beating Combat Puppet No. 7

Dodge the attack and wait for a follow-up before going on the offensive.

Double Slash

After the slash, the boss may follow up with another slash.

Dodge the follow-up attack and deal damage.

Lunar Manifestation

The boss will dash toward you and slash.

Dodge after the dash is over. After that, use your melee attacks.

Icicle Spin

The boss will spin and launch big ice blocks.

Stay near the boss, and the attack won’t hit you, giving you a bigger window to deal damage.

Sword Spin

The boss will do an aerial spinning attack.

If you are close, it may go above you, but dashing is better.

Iai Slash

No. 7 will go into a stance and then perform a slash. The space where the player is standing will be cut down.

Wait for the boss to slash the air and then dodge. Make sure to dodge, as this attack cuts the dimension, so it won’t matter if you are not near the boss; it will hit you.

After fighting three formidable foes, your next foe is going to be the most troublesome one, Combat Puppet No. 7. This boss is going to deal some insane amount of damage, so make sure you have enough heals before you enter the fight.

After beating three of the previous bosses, you will receive an extra heal from each. So, if you use one for each fight, you will have enough heals to go against No. 7. The main attacks you need to be wary of are Double Slash, Lunar Manifestations, and the Iai Slash.

Breaking this boss’s stance should be your aim, so try to use the Barrage and Volcanic skills more often. The latter deals a lot of damage and even inflicts Blaze.

The last one deals a tremendous amount of damage and is the one you are more likely to get hit by. However, getting the timing down won’t be that difficult, and after defeating the boss, Combat Puppet No. 7 will become one of your allies, meaning you will have a new ability.
