Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 – Beginner Tips

So that you’re not too overwhelmed, some Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 beginners tips will be very helpful

Once you have played a bit of the game and have been ambushed, you will need to escape the bandits along with Hans through the forest. Eventually, you will reach a house where a woman will take care of both of you, but a series of events will happen in the place. The quest isn’t that complicated, but it could take some to complete, so we will guide you on how to do it properly.

Recovering And Doing Chores

In-game prompt after successfully stopping the bleeding.

Now that you have reached Bozhena’s house she will tend to your wounds. While you are there, Hans will get attacked too, but will survive the attack and kill the bandit. However, Hans is now in worse condition than you, so you will need to find some materials to make him better.

Before that, Henry’s health comes first, so as soon as you wake up, use the bandages to stop the bleeding. To do so, open up your inventory and select enough bandages to stop the bleeding. Once done just in front, you will see a pot of food by the fire, so eat some and talk to Bozhena.

She will tell you about Hans’s condition and will ask you to do something about the corpse lying outside and to clean yourself. However, before heading outside, you can get a Marksman’s and Tailor’s Kit along with a few piercing arrows from upstairs.

Once you have taken the items, head outside and wash yourself.

Burying The Bandit

Now you should bury the bandit who is lying outside dead. While this is optional, it is better to do so. Approach the dead bandit and get all the loot of its body. After that, pick up the shovel and the body. When done, head northeast to bury the dead bandit.

The location where you want to go will be visible on your compass, so follow the coordinates and reach your destination. Once you are there, drop the body and dig a grave. After that, pick up the bandit and bury him.

Now that you have buried the bandit you should head back inside and talk to Bozhena and ask about Hans’ condition.

Finding Herbs For Hans

Hans is lying down as he is badly injured.

When talking to Bozhena, she will tell you that Hans’ condition isn’t that good, and she wants to bring down the fever. However, some herbs are required for that. Bozhena will tell you about Chamomile Decoction, so if you previously chose Survival as a dialogue in the last chapter, you can choose the first option.

However, if you didn’t choose Survival, you should bother with flexing your knowledge about herbs and simply go with the second option. Upon asking, she will tell you about the two herbs: Jade and Chamomile.

Bozhena will also tell you about where to find them, so head out of the house and turn left; you will notice a path going to the backside, so follow it. Keep going ahead and, eventually, you will find both of the herbs Bozhena told you about. Spotting the herbs won’t be difficult as just look for the ones that meet the prescription described by Bozhena.

Once you have picked up the herbs, get back to the hut and something strange will happen.

Finding Out What The Commotion Is About

Henry is talking to a bandit right outside the hut.

When you are near the hut you will hear the Growler barking indicating something is wrong. Upon getting even closer, you will hear two men talking to Bozhena about two bandits. If you approach them, it is better to equip yourself with a weapon. On your right side, there will be an ax.

Equip it and head over to where the two men are. Upon approaching them, Mikesh will ask Henry about who he is. If you tell them the real identity of Henry and Hans, the bandits will attack you. If you kill the leader, Mikesh, then the other one will just run away.

If you don’t want to fight the bandits, then you can talk your way out of the situation. To do so, simply choose the option “You don’t look like Bergow’s men” and then choose “You’re looking in the wrong place”. After doing so, both of the bandits will believe Henry and go away.

We would recommend killing them both as they have some useful items and fighting them isn’t difficult. So, defeat them both and loot their gear, but now you have two more corpses to bury.

Talk To Bozhena

Once you have dealt with the bandits, head inside and talk to Bozhena. She is pretty shaken up by the incident and will ask you about your identity. You should tell her the truth as that will increase your reputation. Once you tell her the truth she will believe you and will tell you to use the Alchemy bench to create the potion for Hans.

Burying the bandits is optional, but if you do so, Bozhena will thank you and your reputation with her will increase.

However, before making the potion, bury the bodies lying outside. Take the bodies to where you previously buried the bandit and this time dig two graves. After digging the graves, bury both bandits, clean yourself again to get rid of the smell of the dead, and then head over to the Alchemy Bench.

Brewing Chamomile Decoction

Chamomile Decoction recipe explained In the book.

Once you are at the table, Bozhena will explain to you how to make the potion. Following her lead won’t be difficult. Simply look at the recipe and you will figure it out. For starters, you have to pour the wine into the Cauldron and lower it.

Once you have boiled it, raise the Cauldron and add two handfuls of Chamomile. After that, lower the Cauldron again, turn the Sandglass, and wait. Once the time is up, raise the Cauldron. Now, you will have to grind a handful of Sage; do so and add it to the Cauldron.

If you couldn’t make the perfect version of the decoction, Henry will say “I boiled that Chamomile on too large a fire, I reckon.” However, making a regular decoction is also enough as Bozhena will accept it.

Once done, you won’t have to heat it again as the potion is ready, so simply grab a Phial and fill it with the potion. After successfully making the Chamomile Decoction, Bozhena will ask you to lie down and sleep as it is necessary for Henry to recover.

So, sleep till 5 am and while sleeping, Henry will have flashbacks about the first game specifically related to his dad and the sword. Upon waking up, you will meet Pavlena, who is Bozhena’s daughter. She will ask you about the dream, comfort you, and invite you to breakfast.

Head Outside For Breakfast

Pavlena talking to Henry right next to a fire.

Once you are done talking to Pavlena, head outside to join the rest for breakfast. After sitting at the table, you will be allowed to tell Bozhena and Pavlena about your epic adventures where you saved Hans multiple times.

This will increase your reputation, so don’t leave behind any details and tell them everything. When you are done talking to them, speak to Hans alone and discuss what to do next. After talking a bit, you will both agree to go to Trovsky and Bozhena will give you some Groschen and food.

Now, you will witness a montage of Hans and Henry traveling and heading toward Trovsky Castle. Reaching the castle with high hopes, both are treated as beggars by the guards. Now Hans and Henry would need to make some plans, as going back empty-handed is out of the question.
