Every year EA celebrates the top performers of the previous calendar year by paying homage to them in the form of the Team of the Year event. One of the most rewarding and much-anticipated events is here so sit back, relax, and enjoy the grandiose event ahead.

Event Duration: January 21st – March 5th (44 Days)

FC Mobile 25 TOTY Event Flow
Main
As has been the case this season, the first tab, the Main Tab, in this case, acts as a guide to the other chapters and the overall event. It’s not functional and redirects to other tabs, including the TOTY Quests, Challenge Mode, Exchanges, and Store Offers.
Therefore, the Intro tab is the place to easily navigate to different game modes where you can earn Rewards related to the event. Besides, this Intro Tab offers a TOTY Nominee Showcase, a set of four daily matches that you can play against the teams of TOTY Nominees and earn Coins, Gems Players, Training Transfer Points, and a final reward of Universal Rank Player – Mascherano.
And yes, you will be receiving these rewards every day! That’s correct; there’s a free Mascherano up for grabs every day for the next 44 days, just by playing the TOTY Nominee Showcase matches. Learn about the TOTY candidates, adjust their team, and win the daily rewards.
Discover the Top Nominees, all competing for a spot in this year’s XI, The final Team of the Year XIs will be announced later, with special TOTY Player Items released to celebrate each player’s status as a fan favorite. Keep tuned for new Chapters and Players being released, including Icons, Honourable Mentions, and the UTOTY i.e. Ultimate Team of the Year!
Road to Icon
In the Road to Icon, where you will log in each day and play through a series of multi-tiered Skill Games or PvE AI-based Matches to earn TOTY Icon Tokens every day in the TOTY: Road to Icon section. Do note the difficulty increases gradually in each of the tiers along with the TOTY Icon Tokens offered.
The first tier, Easy offers 150 TOTY Icon Tokens, the Hard tier offers 200 TOTY Icon Tokens, and the final Crazy tier provides a mammoth 300 TOTY Icon Tokens every day. But do remember, although you can play all of these three tiers every day, you can claim rewards from only one of them. You get multiple retries should you fail to win a match, therefore make your choice wisely, before claiming the TOTY Icon Tokens reward.
Join matches to earn TOTY Icon Tokens, where you can select one of the three difficulty levels every day. There are two daily Ads as well in this tab that you can watch every day to earn additional TOTY Icon Tokens. Next is the Road to Icon Rewards, which is just on the right-hand side of the TOTY: Road to Icon section. Spend TOTY Icon Tokens to earn rewards, with no duplicate rewards being rewarded.
This is similar to the Reward Box from seasons past, where you can receive TOTY Icon Tokens, Players, TOTY event Players, Training Transfer Points, Gems, Coins, Universal Rank Player – Mascherano. There are a total of 10 sets of Rewards present in the Weekly Reward Box, with no reward that can be repeated once claimed. Yes, the box refreshes weekly and will refresh for the first four weeks of the event.
Spend 100 TOTY Icon Tokens to draw weekly rewards and earn the final reward of TOTY Icons Player. There is a choice of Milestone Rewards as well that you can unlock after claiming all four weeks of the Road to Icon Rewards Box. The rewards include three 104 OVR TOTY Icons and 150 TOTY Shards, with the Icons including 104 OVR LW Robert Pires, 104 OVR CAM Gianfranco Zola, and 104 OVR CB Rafael Márquez.
Remember you can only claim the Milestone Rewards after completing the Road to Icon Rewards for all four weeks of the event. As far as the Icons go, all three of them whoever you claim are untradeable. So if you aren’t a fan of the player himself, it’s needless to say the free 150 TOTY Shards will be yours and everyone’s pick!

TOTY Gallery
Next over here in the final TOTY Gallery Tab tab, whereas in past events, all the event-exclusive players are displayed. But this time, there’s a twist, similar to the Winter Wonders event these players are not only available in Packs where you can avail them provided your luck is great but you also can get them in exchange for a new currency, TOTY Shards.
There are six sets of players ranging between 103-107 OVR and all of them are untradeable with new players arriving every week. Provided on the amount of Shards you accumulate over the event, you can get them. Exchange extra TOTY Players for TOTY Shards.
New Players will be available weekly in the Gallery tab of the TOTY event! Head over to the Gallery to find all Player Items that were added that week. Additionally, there is a Daily Bonus pack that offers Coins, Gems, or 75-97 OVR Players. Don’t expect anything more than some elites at max from this week.
Similar to the Winter Wonders event, there is an Exchange Store as well on the further right-hand side where you can exchange your TOTY event Players should you manage to pull any. Therefore, TOTY Shards can be earned through player exchange and used to exchange for specific players. In return, you can exchange TOTY event Players for TOTY Shards.
The exchanges are very interesting and involve trading in TOTY event Players solely for TOTY Shards. So from the below image, if you exchange a 105 TOTY event Player tradeable or untradeable that you don’t find suitable for your squad, you will get 120 TOTY Shards back which you can later utilize to get a player suitable for your team.
Do note that you can perform the above exchanges, you can get TOTY event players either from the Market or by buying the Gem Pack offers from the Store for 2500-3000 Gems. But do remember whichever player you are targeting from the event will be untradeable and you can’t sell it in the market for a profit.
Challenge Mode
Well since this is not a mini-event, there will be a Challenge Mode as well! The Challenge Mode is exactly like the previous event ie a rehash of previous events. The only difference is you will be getting a chance at players from higher OVR but you still won’t be getting any TOTY-specific currencies.
There will be both Daily and Weekend-special Challenge modes that hand out Players, Gems, and Coins. Since there are no H2H or Division Rivals matches involved, therefore it should be fairly easy to win. Don’t forget to check out the Weekend Challenge where you can earn up to 99-107 OVR Players!
Star Pass
Of course, the Star Pass is running simultaneously with the event. There are in-game resources present in the Star Pass. Complete Quests throughout the event to earn Star Pass progress, which includes rewards such as Coins, Gems, Training Transfer Points, FC Points, and other Cosmetic items including Emotes and Kits.
Additionally, for the first time, there are event-specific currencies present in the Star Pass as well! Yes, you can obtain TOTY Shards from the Star Pass this time, that too both from the free and premium sides. Of course, buying the Premium Star Pass gives you an incentive to get a significantly higher amount of TOTY Shards at your disposal.
Don’t forget to check out the newest TOTY-themed Star Pass that is available at launch, including a 108 OVR pre-ranked CM Patrick Vieira. So don’t forget your daily quests to progress through the Star Pass! Earning Star Pass Credits will unlock more rewards along the Star Pass path. There are two tiers to the Star Pass: free and premium. You can also use FC Points to move faster through Star Pass levels and collect rewards faster.
FC Mobile 25 TOTY Event Currencies
TOTY Icon Tokens
- Earn them by completing Skill Games or PvE AI Matches from the Road to Icon tab
- Spend them in the Road to Icon Rewards section to open Rewards in the Road to Icon tab
TOTY Nominee A Points
- Earn them by completing PvE AI Matches from the Today’s Theme Matches section in the TOTY Nominee A tab
- Spend them in the Match 2 section to flip Player Items and earn the Milestone Rewards in the TOTY Nominee A tab
TOTY Nominee B Points
- Earn them by completing PvE AI Matches or PvP-based VSA and H2H matches from the TOTY 3 Wins Mission in the TOTY Nominee B tab
- Spend them in the Reward Path to open Rewards in the TOTY Nominee B tab
TOTY Shards
- Earn them by exchanging extra TOTY Player from the Gallery tab
- Spend them in the Gallery tab to obtain the TOTY Player of your choice

Since the Challenge Mode does not give out TOTY Icon Tokens, therefore further tokens can’t be obtained from there But if you have extra Winter Wonders Tokens from the past you can trade them at an Exchange Rate of 15x Winter Wonders Tokens for 1x TOTY Icon Token with a total of 300 times ie 4500 Winter Wonders Tokens for 300 TOTY Icon Tokens. If we keep that aside, then from simply playing the event, one can easily accumulate a total of:
You can get at least a minimum of 14960 TOTY Icon Tokens from playing the event
Also, you can earn additional TOTY Icon Tokens by exchanging Universal Tokens at an Exchange Rate of 15x Universal Tokens for 1x TOTY Icon Token with a total of 400 times ie 6000 Universal Tokens for 400 TOTY Icon Tokens Daily. Therefore if you stress on earning Universal Tokens from Daily Chronicles and by grinding the VSA, H2H, and Manager mode matches, you can gain an advantage in acquiring Vote Tickets daily.
FC Mobile 25 TOTY Event Tips and Tricks
Team of the Year has a fair amount of grind, with daily skill games and matches to play in FC Mobile 25. So here are our additional tips and tricks to help you get the best from the event. It took us a while to get these answers and calculate everything so let’s explain it here.
Now tips for the event. Play everything. Be excited that there’s no event energy or stamina involved anymore in the new season. We’re not dealing with the constant fear of energy getting wasted and full and neither has there been a single ad since the game was released. So yes, definitely enjoy it while you can.
FC Mobile 25 TOTY Event Players
That’s it the Team of the Year Event in a nutshell. Beyond that, there isn’t a whole lot to say about this event. All the calculations are at your doorstep there, do with it what you will and plan carefully. Just play the event, every day, daily grind it out.
Team of the Year is a decent and grind-heavy event. It’s over six weeks long and there’s a lot more going on here than we have seen in the past in FC Mobile! Finally, we receive an event where there’s a lot to do daily and you can proceed with the goal of getting a player, without solely doesn’t depend on pack luck. Yes, you can obtain a player that you desire for your squad even if it’s untradeable.
There’s a lot to do, a lot of packs to open up, and a lot of Skill Games and Matches to grind, plus we are now getting event currencies in the Star Pass as well! Finally, we can see some moves in the right direction. If you had liked Winter Wonders, you would love TOTY! Before the event ends, it is likely your entire team will be filled with Team of the Year players. Be pumped! FC Mobile is finally getting better, even if it’s slightly!
