FC 25 Releases Title Update 9

EA Sports FC 25 has recently released its Title Update 9 for all platforms. While the new update is not as large as some previous ones, it’s still good to see Electronic Arts continuing to support EA Sports FC 25 by squashing bugs and improving the overall experience.

Now, EA Sports FC 25’s new Title Update 9 has been released for all platforms. Most gamers should not expect any drastic changes in the new update, however, as it mainly fixes some glitches and makes some improvements to the game. For example, the update introduced the ability to search for OVR ranges in Club, SBCs, Rush, and Evolutions in the Ultimate Team mode, and added the ability to set Board Strictness in Live Starting Points in Career Mode.

Overall, Update 9 is much smaller than EA Sports FC 25’s mid-season update, which was one of the most significant patches the popular soccer game has received so far. For instance, the update changed how attacking and defense work in EA Sports FC 25 to make the experience feel more realistic. Also, EA has improved the quality of the teammate’s AI while attacking to support player feedback better.

Despite EA’s efforts to keep polishing EA Sports FC 25, it’s fair to say that the game did not fare as well as intended. In a recent report, EA concluded that EA Sports FC 25 performed below expectations, not being able to sell as many copies as expected by the publisher.

Not everything is looking grim for the EA Sports FC series, however. Recent reports indicate that Electronic Arts has recently acquired TRACAB Technologies, a company that specializes in collecting data from real-world soccer games. With the technology provided by TRACAB, it’s possible that future EA Sports FC games will have even more realistic gameplay, as the developers will have additional data about how to emulate the real-life movement of players. In any case, it’s still unclear whether this tech will be applied to the upcoming EA Sports FC 26, which is expected to be released late in 2025, and it’s possible that it will only affect later titles.
