Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s Booster Pack Schedule May Have Been Revealed
Much like Genetic Apex did with Mythical Island, Space-Time Smackdown is set to receive a strengthening expansion or an ‘a’ set, which could not be far away.
According to Pokemon Zone, TCG Pocket’s A2a set will be released on February 28, 2025. This expansion will contain significantly fewer cards than Space-Time Smackdown but will freshen up the meta a month after things start to take shape.
Pokemon Zone also reports that the game’s next major set, A3, will launch on April 30, giving us plenty of time to collect as many Space-Time Smackdown cards as possible.
Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket’s February Event Schedule Also Leaks
According to the same website, Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket will get four big events in February. Not bad for a 28-day month.
Starting on February 3 is the Cresselia ex Drop Event, in which players will battle against a variety of Cresselia-centric decks in order to receive a single-promo booster pack. This booster pack will contain one of five promo cards: Cresselia ex, Misdreavus, Electivire, Skarmory, and Turtwig.
The following day, on February 4, Space-Time Smackdown’s first Emblem Event will begin. Here, much like the other Emblem Events, players will need to rack up a total of 45 wins to scoop the top prize, a new Emblem.
On February 7, the Chimchar and Togepi Wonder Pick Event will take place, and players will have the chance to Wonder Pick a promo of the two featured Pokemon.
Finally, after a two-week break, the Darkness-Type Mass Outbreak Event will begin on February 21, with players having the opportunity to Wonder Pick a Weavile ex.
Players who still subscribe to the Pokemon Trading Card Game Pocket Premium Pass will also get their hands on a free Piplup promo, which you can see here, along with every other promo released next month.
Although there aren’t any ‘new’ events, it’s another exciting month for the mobile TCG.
