Many resources in Infinity Nikki such as the Grudging Cloth are rare and can only be collected once a day. This is largely because the material lets you craft some useful Whim Fragrances which you can equip on Nikki to improve her capabilities in combat. Getting it requires you to prove yourself in battle.
To get the rare cloth, you need to defeat a tough opponent who is residing deep within the Songbreeze Cavern. It’s quite well-hidden and you will only find it after exploring the cave thoroughly. The enemy is tough to beat, as it can get quite aggressive during the battle.
How To Get Grudging Cloth
The Grudging Cloth is so rare that only one of them can be found on Fireworks Isles. To get it, you need to beat an Esseling called Grudge Bag, which is found deep within the Songbreeze Cavern.
After collecting your Grudging Cloth, you’ll need to wait a day for the server reset to get another.
Teleport to the Songbreeze Highland Hillside Warp Spire, and then head inside the Cavern that you can find along the edges of the cliff in front of you. Once the pathway ends, you can drop down below to land on solid ground. Go inside another opening in the cave to reach an area with a gate.
Go left and look behind to see a few rocks popping out of the wall. You can float across these to go above the cliff once you reach the highest point on the west of the gate. Head further into the cave, and you will find more rocks to climb on the left. After climbing them, go further and cross the stone bridge to find the Grudge Bag.
How To Beat The Grudge Bag
The Grudge Bag will receive no damage if you hit it directly. Instead, you need to attack the core, which you will see when it opens. To defeat it, you need to hit it three times.
You can shoot a Purification Orb at the core, even when the enemy is in the middle of an attack.
As its name suggests, Grudge Bag is an aggressive enemy, who will dash towards you with rage. You need to be quick to sprint away from its way. It will also summon more Esselings during the battle which you should beat to make things easier. It will also shoot up purple orbs your way, so be wary of them.
How To Use The Grudging Cloth
The Grudging Cloth is an ingredient to make two Whim Fragrances that you will find on Fireworks Isles. You can craft the Light of Dawn Hair Oil and Breath of Wilderness Hand Powder.
Both of these can be equipped in your Purification outfit to make Nikki excel at combat. Light of Dawn lets Nikki shoot appealing crescent-like purifying orbs. The Breath of Wilderness improves the plunging ability which throws enemies even further away.
