Tecchin Tecchikawahara

Master Swordsmith

Arguably the most skilled swordsmith alive, Tecchin Tecchikawahara is a chief of the Swordsmith Village. He is a slightly arrogant but highly skilled person who is held in high regard by the people of his village.

It’s his fault for making dull blades that break.

When Hotaru Haganezuka was young, he was so chaotic and horrible that he caused his parent’s mental breakdown. Tecchikawahara, showing his generosity and kindness, adopted the boy and raised him. His kindness was critical in shaping Hotaru’s future and he later became a skilled swordsmith. By offering help, Tecchikawahara leads by example and has demonstrated on many occasions why he is the right man to lead the village.

Although Tecchin Tecchikawahara has worked with swords all his life, he can barely use one when push comes to shove. During the ambush of Swordsmith village orchestrated by Gyokko and Hantengu, he could not defend himself and would have died a gruesome death had Love Hashira not arrived at the scene on time.

Senjuro Rengoku

Shinjuro Rengoku’s Son

Younger brother of the Flame Hashira, Senjuro Rengoku is a kind and caring teenager who was expected to be Kyojuro’s successor. But despite training hard and putting in all the effort, his swordsmanship never truly reached the level that was on par with his father or brother at his age. Senjuro who was supposed to be Kyojuro’s Tsuguko, failed to even seem remotely close to mastering a breathing style and was forced to give up on being a swordsman.

The Rengokus had produced two hashiras and failing to carry the family legacy made Senjuro feel like a failure. He slowly made peace with his fate and decided to find something else to do.

Aoi Kanzaki

Demon Slayer Who Became a Helper

Aoi Kanzaki is the caring but strict helper at the Butterfly Mansion, who helps in the rehabilitation of demon slayers. She is one of the few characters on the list who has passed the final selection. But despite making it out alive, Kanzaki sees herself as a coward and feels that she is not the kind of person who can fight in battle.

Compared to you guys, I’m not so important, so thanks aren’t necessary. I survived selection due to pure luck. Since then I’ve been afraid to fight, so I’m a coward.

Aoi has worked under Butterfly Hashira Shinobu and knows how to make medicines. Although she does not fight demons on the front line, she has helped the Demon Slayer Corps immensely through her expertise.

The Caring Attendant to the Demon Slayer Corps

Goto has been a member of the Kakushi for quite some time now and although he was once deemed strong enough to become a demon slayer, he decided to work as an attendant instead. He is a sincere man who is often annoyed by the eccentric personalities of demon slayers.

Goto has led the clean-up brigade operations in the aftermath of dangerous missions including the battle in the Entertainment district. Despite being capable of fighting demons, he has shown no interest in taking up arms.

Hotaru Haganezuka

Hotaru Haganezuka is an ill-tempered swordsmith who has worked closely with Tanjiro ever since he became a demon slayer. He comes from a clan that has been known for producing expert swordsmiths for generations, so it should not come as a surprise that Hotaru possesses immense knowledge and skill in forging Nichirin swords. Although Hotaru has worked with the Demon Slayer Corps for many years, he does not posses the heart or skill to fight against demons.

Amane Ubuyashiki

The Priestess With a Heart of Gold

Amane was a calm, composed, and compassionate woman who married Kagaya Ubuyashiki at a very young age. She came from a family of priests and was chosen to look after Demon Slayer Corps’ former leader’s medical needs.

Amane was always a devoted wife and mother who stood by her husband in his last moments as he faced his arch-nemesis Muzan. Her commitment to Kagaya surpassed any fear she had of death and although she is not a combatant, she accepted her fate without hesitation.

Head of the Ubuyashiki Family and former leader of the Demon Slayer Corps, Kagaya had a profound influence on the human-demon conflict. He made some revolutionary decisions and implemented strategies that strengthened his forces against Muzan. Unfortunately, because of his family curse, which shortened his lifespan and weakened his body, Kagaya could never fight.

Ubuyashiki had shown a desire to play a more active role in battles against the Demon King, but his frail body was not capable of withstanding the injuries that even ordinary demons are capable of inflicting. Until his death, he led the Demon Slayer Corps with the belief that Muzan would be defeated and ended his life in a selfless act of sacrifice.
