If you’re looking for where to buy the Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080 GPU, this is the place to be. We’re updating this guide daily with links to etailers around the world so you can set up your notifications, get in your pre-order, and eventually find stock – at a regular retail price – when the RTX 5080 launches.
The Nvidia RTX 5080 is expected to be a very popular option for those wanting to upgrade to an RTX 5000 series GPU. That’s because, while the RTX 5090 is the undisputed new best graphics card, it also offers relatively poor value for $1,999. The RTX 5080, though, is tipped to be 15% faster than the RTX 4080 Super while not costing any more than that card.
Because of this expected popularity, and because the entire RTX 5000 series is tipped to be in short supply and high demand, you’re going to need to be organized if you want to secure a card for a sensible price soon after launch.
With an official price of $999 / £979 / AU$2,019 for Nvidia’s own Founders Edition card. Other cards from the likes of Asus, Gigabyte, MSI, Palit, PNY, and Zotac might demand more, but that’s the ballpark figure you should expect to pay. The RTX 5080 release date is set for January 30, so no stock is available yet, but some stores are operating pre-order and “notify me” services, so you can sign up to know when stock becomes available.
