Skins in Fortnite are a major appeal for a lot of players, they spice up the battle Pass and a new drop in the Item Shop and even peak the player count. There are already thousands of skins in the game, but there are even more Fortnite upcoming skins planned. Thanks to leaks, surveys, and other clues, we have a pretty good idea of quite a few of these cosmetics that are going to arrive soon.
There are tons of Fortnite upcoming skins that we partially know about. Thanks to Fortnite leaks, we have a solid look at what collabs are in the files and are currently being planned. However, we also have survey skins, and concept art of skins which are shown to players ahead of time to allow them to gauge which are most popular and will be worth releasing. These are the Fortnite Upcoming skins we know about at the moment:

Survey Skins
One of the best ways we see Fortnite upcoming skins is through surveys. Little testers get sent out to see which will strike a chord with the player base. Survey skins usually make their way to the Battle Pass or item shop. These are the most recent batches of the Fortnite survey skins:
Upcoming Fortnite Skins New Collabs
Original Fortnite characters are fun, but Fortnite collabs are definitely the bigger releases. The ones that grab the headlines. Fortnite is always adding new collabs skins and at the moment there’s a decent batch we’re expecting to arrive in the next few updates. These are the upcoming Fortnite collabs we should see over coming seasons according to leakers:
- Kaiju No 8
- Demon Slayer
- One Punch Man
- Hitman
- The Riddler
- Yakuza
- Tekken
- One Piece
These could be part of item shop release drops, or they could come in the Battle Pass as bonus skins. These could even be our upcoming event passes, getting a whole batch of cosmetics.
When Do Upcoming Skins Release?
We’ve got a good look at quite a few upcoming Fortnite skins, but when are we expecting any of these to be released? We never quite know what the schedule is for Fortnite skin releases. Usually, these can leak once they show up as a reference somewhere, but can take a while to actually arrive.
Some collabs were leaked years before release. Others only turn up a few days before they actually release. In the case of survey skins, they usually arrive within a year or so, or they’re heavily re-worked. We know Epic works quite far ahead of time with Fortnite seasons now. For example, taking two maps before we got one designed for Builds and Zero Build after they decided to keep the mode as a spur-of-the-moment change. We should see the Fortnite unreleased skins arrive eventually though, if we’re patient.
