Kell’s Fall has a surprising number of secrets to uncover for a Destiny 2
Exotic mission. Many of these secrets are tied to a strange instrument inside of the Tangled Shore’s watchtower that connects the barren waste with the Dreaming City.

The Scorn pipe organ can be used to enter a myriad of secret codes, revealing hidden rooms and encounters that are needed to unlock certain Triumphs and Slayer’s Fang intrinsics. In this guide, we’ll be going over how to use the Scorn organ and showcase every melody code currently available in the Kell’s Fall Exotic mission and what they do.
Using The Scorn Pipe Organ
The Scorn pipe organ is an instrument you’ll find at the start of
Kell’s Fall
, located right after your first altercation with the Trickster. The organ won’t be fully repaired until you’ve completed the Revenant story quest, requiring you to clear Kell’s Fall three times in total.
Once that’s done, you’ll be able to play a wide range of melodies on the organ. It functions similarly to the wishing wall in Last Wish, activating certain easter eggs or spawning bonus loot for your fireteam to uncover. There’s even a hidden boss fight you can start. All discovered melodies can be found below.
There is no limit on how many melodies you can play; just remember to step off the organ plate between each code.
Slayer’s Fang Intrinsic Melodies
There are three melody solutions tied to Slayer’s Fang’s intrinsic upgrades. Entering the melody will spawn a bag at a pre-determined point. Find the bag and claim it to unlock an intrinsic upgrade. Despite how it’s labeled, intrinsic upgrades are incremental; you can’t get a max intrinsic upgrade by grabbing Intrinsic IV and ignoring the rest. If you want all the crafting options, you’ll need to get every upgrade.
Below are the melodies you’ll need to spawn these intrinsic upgrades. For a rundown of where you can find them, consult our
Slayer’s Fang Intrinsics guide
.
Slayer’s Fang Intrinsic II Melody
The melody sounds like ancient gears grinding deep within the fortress.

Trickster Melodies
There are two melodies you can play that will force the Trickster to spawn during certain encounters. This strictly makes these encounters harder and offers no bonus loot, but these melodies can be played to complete certain melody-related Triumphs for Kell’s Fall.
Trickster Melody #1
Melody |
1–8–1–9 |
---|---|
Reward |
Spawns the Trickster during the first encounter. |
The Trickster will now spawn during the first encounter, laying disguised traps to confuse you. Damaging the Trickster with a high-damage weapon will eventually cause them to leave.
Trickster Melody #2
Melody |
1–8–1–11–9 |
---|---|
Reward |
Spawns the Trickster during the second encounter. |
Playing this melody will spawn the Trickster during the second encounter with the Mindbender. They’ll behave like usual, deploying ammo-disguised traps while evading incoming fire. A Grenade Launcher or Super will make short work of them.
Easter Egg Melodies
There are a few melodies that act as easter eggs and offer no gameplay benefits. Activating these will count towards any melody secret Triumphs, but they won’t assist with upgrading Slayer’s Fang.
Savathun Easter Egg Melody
Melody |
4–7–9–6–2–6–7–1 |
---|---|
Reward |
Savathun laughs |
Entering this code will cause Savathun to give out a short chuckle. This melody does nothing else, although it does count towards your total melody count for the purposes of Triumphs.
Uldren Sov Shrine Easter Egg Melody
The melody sounds like a child, yearning for his father.
Melody |
1–8–4–11–1–6–4–10 |
---|---|
Reward |
Opens a hidden shrine to Uldren Sov in the Undercroft |
This melody will open a shrine to Uldren Sov in the Undercroft, the red chasm you platform over after the first encounter. As you drop down to the first cave, run straight ahead to find a newly-opened door. Inside will be a small shrine dedicated to Uldren Sov, most likely made by Fikrul himself.
Scorn Conductor Hidden Boss Melody
The melody pulls you towards a harmonic presence—violent and sublime.
Melody |
10–4–6–1–11–4–8–1 |
---|---|
Reward |
Starts a hidden boss fight with the Scorn Conductor |
Be sure to grab Act 3 Key Fieldwork from Eido before attempting this fight.
Playing this melody will teleport you to an isolated room in the watchtower, pitting you against an army of Dread and the Scorn Conductor. This is the Scorn responsible for setting up the pipe organ in the entryway, and they aren’t too keen on you using it for your own gain.
Fortunately, there isn’t much to this fight. Damage the boss until they reach roughly 66% HP. This will spawn a Tormentor and make the boss immune to all incoming damage. Slay the Tormentor to drop the immunity shield and resume damaging the conductor. Repeat until the boss is dead.
