Wrestlers Who Deserve A High Rating In WWE 2K25

Wrestlers Who Deserve A High Rating In WWE 2K25

Summary

  • A potential higher ranking for Bronson Reed would reflect his formidable wrestling style.
  • Nia Jax’s newfound dominance and title reign make her deserving of a significant rating boost in WWE 2K25.
  • Liv Morgan’s impressive “Revenge Tour” and improved skills suggest she will see a higher ranking in WWE 2K25.

Since WWE 2K24 was released near the beginning of last year, there have been many wrestlers who have broken through the ranks and proven what they’re truly made of through their matches. Considering that each WWE 2K game will update wrestler rankings depending on how the year has been for them, it seems likely that at least a few superstars will be receiving a significant boost from the last entry, considering how far they’ve come since then.

7 New Match Types That Should Be In WWE 2K25

With the WWE moving to Netflix and a new 2K game on the horizon, what new match types should be added to WWE 2K25?

In the leadup to WWE’s move to Netflix, there have been so many wrestlers who have pushed themselves to get their name out there so that newcomers can recognize them and enjoy their promos and in-ring work when tuning in week to week. Therefore, with WWE 2K25 already being teased, it seems like the perfect time to reflect on the male and female wrestlers who deserve to see a higher ranking for the next game in the series.

1

Bronson Reed

Bronson Reed’s Devastating Wrestling Style Has Made Him One Of The Most Formidable Stars On The Roster

Not every wrestler who moves up from NXT to the main roster succeeds in winning audiences over, but Bronson Reed has done an incredible job at making his name known through his devastating wrestling moveset, especially his finisher, the Tsunami. This move sees Bronson leaping from the top rope before crushing his opponent with his body weight, which is something he used to take Seth Rollins out of action, and which almost obliterated Roman Reigns during the 2024 WarGames match.

Bronson Reed would even hold his own against another fellow giant, Braun Strowman, which just goes to show how durable this guy really is that he can be thrown around by such a menacing opponent and be able to shrug it off. It’s clear that Reed has been pushed by the folks at WWE, and for good reason, so fans can expect a higher ranking for him the next time around.

2

Nia Jax

Nia Has Been Picking Up Accolades Left And Right And Is More Than Deserving Of A Rating Boost

After Nia Jax was released by WWE in 2021, it seemed unlikely that she would ever make a return, but to everyone’s surprise, Jax showed up as an entrant at 2023’s Royal Rumble. Since then, she has become one of the most dominant women on the roster, becoming not only the Queen of the Ring but also winning the WWE Women’s Championship from Bayley.

WWE 2K25: 9 Wrestlers Who Could Appear On The Cover

With so many wrestlers being propelled to stardom in 2024, who could be called up to take center stage on the cover for the new game?

Nia has been racking up accolades left and right thanks to her hard-hitting wrestling style and no-nonsense attitude, so while she may have only been DLC in the last game, that certainly won’t be the case for the next one. To highlight that Nia is now one of the strongest women in the sport, her rating will probably reach at least the 90 mark, but there’s no guarantee that it won’t be even higher than this.

3

Liv Morgan

Liv Morgan’s “Revenge Tour” Showcased To The World How Much Of A Threat She Is

Liv Morgan’s Revenge Tour lasted for much of the second half of 2024, and it’s fair to say that within that time, she shot herself to stardom, primarily thanks to her intense feud with Rhea Ripley, the self-proclaimed face of the women’s division. Liv’s sneaky seductress persona made her a fun heel to hate, and her in-ring work with Rhea proved to many people that she deserved to be mentioned in conversations regarding the most talented female wrestlers in the industry.

While Rhea would claim the victory over Liv in most of their matches, it’s hard to deny that the latter still pushed Rhea to her limit every match, and even came close to taking her down for good several times. Compared to Liv’s 2023, which saw her being humiliated by the likes of Ronda Rousey during a long-running feud, she has had a much better showing over the last year, which implies that she’ll probably see a higher rating to reflect this.

4

Johnny Gargano

Gargano Was Finally Able To Put His Unique Wrestling Moveset On Full Display In 2024

Admittedly, considering Johnny Gargano is in a tag team with Tommaso Ciampa, the two of them are likely to receive a rating boost, but Johnny is really the one who has shined the most over the past year thanks to his jaw-dropping wrestling style. While Gargano was one of NXT’s most talented and successful wrestlers, it took him a little while to find his footing in the WWE roster, but once he and Ciampa won the Tag Team belts, he finally was able to show fans what he was truly made of.

Gargano has been decimating tag teams over the last few months, whether it be Pretty Deadly, A-Town Down Under, or the Street Profits, and his high-risk high-reward moves have been a spectacle to watch in action, and a sign that he will be much more appreciated in WWE 2K25.

5

Naomi

Naomi’s In-Ring And Promo Skills Have Improved Massively Since Wrestlemania

  • WWE 2K24 Rating: Not Featured In The Game

Before 2024’s Wrestlemania, where Naomi would form a team with Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill, Naomi honestly didn’t feel all that relevant to many of the ongoing storylines, and in turn, she didn’t partake in too many matches either. However, since the previously mentioned Mania match, Naomi has been a major key player in the women’s division and has taken on many talented wrestlers, including Nia Jax, Bayley, and Tiffany Stratton.

She would also be one of the most exciting wrestlers to watch during the WarGames PPV event, thanks to her impressive mobility and unique moveset. Needless to say, Naomi has been a joy to watch over the past year, and with her wrestling skills seeing a staggering improvement, there’s no doubt this will see her obtain a high ranking in the next game.

6

Damian Priest

Priest Has Taken On Some Of The Deadliest Members Of The Men’s Division After Splitting From The Judgement Day

While Damian Priest was already a force to be reckoned with as a member of the Judgement Day, since leaving and turning babyface, he has been running rampant across the men’s division, proving to be too much for even the most fearsome of combatants. For example, he would be one of the only wrestlers to strike fear in the eyes of Gunther, and would also prove his worth against industry icon Finn Balor.

8 Best WWE 2K Game Covers, Ranked

2K has gotten pretty creative with some of the covers seen on their WWE 2K series, but which stands as the most unique of them all?

His shining moment of 2024 would undoubtedly be his epic match against Bad Bunny at Backlash, which was seen by much of the wrestling community as the fight that cemented him as one of the greatest talents in modern-day wrestling. While his 86 rating from the previous game is nothing to slouch at, Priest has simply achieved too much since then to not have at least a few extra points added to his overall rank.

7

Solo Sikoa

Solo Has Stepped Up As The New Leader Of The Bloodline, Taking Down Numerous Opponents Along The Way

Once upon a time, Solo Sikoa was Roman Reigns’ silent and mysterious right-hand man, but since Roman’s defeat at Wrestlemania, Solo has been gradually building his own Bloodline. While it’s therefore not uncommon to see Solo’s comrades rushing down to the ring to help him score a win, he’s demonstrated on numerous occasions that he’s still a dangerous threat, even all by his lonesome.

Nowhere would this be made more clear than at Crown Jewel, where Solo would not only beat but embarrass John Cena when he pummeled him with Samoan Spikes in front of a packed crowd. Solo has managed to rack up a considerable number of wins in the last year, and while he already had a decent rating, it only seems fitting that the new leader of the Bloodline should be granted a new and improved score to highlight his strength.

8

Jey Uso

The King Of “Yeet” Proved To The World That He Is Just As, If Not More Dangerous As A Solo Act

Though many fans were skeptical whether Jey could stand on his own when separated from his twin and former tag-team partner, he has managed to go on an incredible streak of matches that have demonstrated just how formidable this Uso is. Most of Jey’s matches have been against Solo Sikoa’s new and “improved” Bloodline stable, but his biggest win of 2024 would be against Bronn Breaker, whom he snatched the Intercontinental Title away from after an intense battle with the NXT legend.

He would also put on a show at the Money in the Bank Ladder match, as well as at WarGames, where he was one of his team’s most reliable members. All in all, the king of “Yeet” has made his mark on the industry over the last few months, and with such a rapid rise to stardom, and a slew of great matches, there must also come an updated rating for WWE 2K25.
