How to Get the Unique Cavalier Rifle in Stalker 2

Players can get the Cavalier Sniper Rifle near the Military Unit inside the Duga base in Stalker 2: Heart of Chornobyl. The weapon can be found inside a warehouse that connects to a greenhouse. You may have visited the Duga base before to get the Journalist stash there, so getting in will be easy through the second entrance.

Here’s how you can get the Cavalier weapon inside the warehouse.

Getting Inside the Warehouse Near the Military Unit of Duga Base

After entering the Duga base, head towards the Military Unit building marked on your map. You don’t need to go inside the building, but around it to reach the greenhouse at the back. You should be cautious here as two Pseudogiants are roaming here and will attack you on sight. Once you spot the greenhouse, head towards it carefully if you want to avoid an encounter with the dangerous mutants.

Go through the greenhouse and you’ll arrive inside a warehouse. As soon as you enter the warehouse, multiple swarms of rats will spawn and start to chip away at your health. There are elevated green platforms towards the back of the warehouse that you can climb up to save yourself from the rats. Throw a grenade to take care of the swarm.

Break the Wooden Boards & Grab the Cavalier Rifle

Once the rat swarms are taken care of, look towards the ceiling of the warehouse above the entryway that connects to the greenhouse. You’ll see wooden boards coated in yellow paint. You’ll need to use your weapon to shoot these boards, and the Cavalier sniper rifle will drop from above.

Grab the weapon and safely exit the Duga base. Now you can get the Cavalier upgraded from Screw, the technician at Rostok base. It has maximum damage with great accuracy, which can be further improved with upgrades and mods. For players who don’t like using a scope on their sniper rifles, the Cavalier is a great weapon to use that supports a red-dot sight and lets you utilize it in close to medium range gunfights.
