Cyberpunk 2077 Fans Discuss One Thing From The Game They Want In Real Life

In the future, we’ll have hover boards and hover cars… or so we thought. In truth, we got two-wheeled skateboards and metal “trucks”. Cyberpunk 2077, paints a grim picture of the future. While society isn’t at its best, at least there’s some cool tech to play around with. From digital implants to seeker rounds, Night City has a lot of neat toys.

Merry Christmas, samurai.

The setting may be dystopic, but there is plenty of tech that we could use to improve our daily lives in a number of ways. So, when asked about the one thing players wished they could have from Cyberpunk 2077, the answers were pretty diverse. Of course, not everyone chose something that would help humanity as a whole.

Over on the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, Strepp_ posed the question to the community, and the answers were equally insightful and hilarious. The top rated comment really thought things through, saying, “V’s car insurance. I could crash/blow up my car and only have to pay between $45 to $100. That’s preem af.”

While a number of players said that they’d want the Sandevistan implant, other thirsty players mentioned the likes of Panam, Judy, Kerry Eurodyne, and even Songbird. One unselfish player said “Kiroshi Optics so blind people can see again.”

There were mentions of CHOOH2, Cyberpunk 2077’s alternate fuel that burns much cleaner than regular gasoline, which would be very helpful in the environmental crisis we find ourselves currently facing.

One player in the tech industry said “A cyberdeck. I’m a computer programmer – just being able to launch scripts at stuff would be SO useful.” This is my personal answer too, as it’s not just a tool, but a tool that would help accelerate innovation, negating the time it takes to code new technology. However, one comment pointed out a downside: “I would use it to beam a 3D model of Garfield into random peoples brains.”

As you can imagine, many players chose their favourite weapons and implants. From Mantis Blades and Gorilla Arms, to guns of all kind. Others would have loved for Braindances to be a real thing too.

Developed by CD Projekt Red, Cyberpunk 2077 is a first-person action role-playing game based on the Cyberpunk tabletop RPG. You must choose your path through life in the lawless Night City, while contending with the memories of Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves).
