A mobile game based on the popular Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku anime and manga is right around the corner! During the Jump Festa 2025 event, Good Smile Company announced Hell’s Paradise: Paradise Battle, a survival RPG scheduled to launch in Japan on Android, iOS, and PC in 2025. The game will be supervised by MAPPA, the renowned animation studio behind many popular anime series.

Hell’s Paradise: Paradise Battle is a survival RPG set on the mysterious island of Shinsenkyō. Like in the anime and manga, you will face numerous challenges and threats while exploring the island, where survival is key and you must be very alert to the hostile environment.
This is an official game adaptation of Hell’s Paradise: Jigokuraku, the popular manga and anime series created by Yuji Kaku. If you don’t know about it, the story follows Gabimaru the Hollow, a fearsome ninja, who is forced to find the elixir of immortality on Shinsenkyō, accompanied by the executioner Yamada Asaemon Sagiri.
Key talents from the anime’s production team are working on this game
As a fan of this series, it’s nice to know that the key individuals from the anime production team are involved in this game. Like, Akira Kindaichi who managed the storyline of the anime adaptation, will oversee the game’s storyline as well.
And the anime’s soundtrack composers, Yoshiaki Dewa, and ZENTA, will also compose music for the game. Moreover, Good Smile Company will handle the production and distribution of the game.
I am looking forward to the game’s intense survival gameplay experience, and the chance to explore the beautiful yet creepy island filled with dangers and exciting puzzles. Although I hope I don’t run into the creepy and terrifying monsters or the Tensens from the Anime. Currently, there is not much detail about the actual gameplay, aside from the short trailer, but we can hope for the best as MAPPA is supervising the game.
