Thank God FromSoftware Isn’t Making Elden Ring 2
We’ll have to wait and see what exactly Elden Ring Nightreign is, but it’s certainly not a straight-up sequel!
From custom sweaters to weapon replicas, and even official merchandise, fans of FromSoftware’s masterpiece have been enjoying all the loot they’ve got for Christmas. In the spirit of Elden Ring, they’ve shared some of these gifts on the game’s subreddit to spread the joy and make us a bit jealous.
Elden Ring Players Get Legendary Armaments For Christmas
First up, we have a four foot long, full metal 15lb Darkmoon Greatsword. Poster darkmoon72664 said that “the hilt is 2 welded together pieces of cast metal, and the blade engravings are beautiful.” From the pictures, it looks like Ranni herself gifted this beautiful custom-created piece to them.
Another iconic weapon on the Christmas gifts list was doom6vi6’s Bloodhound Fang. There wasn’t much in the description to go by, but it looks incredibly well balanced. The comments section of their post is filled with posts asking them to perform the Ash of War. Also, they had some pretty neat Christmas tree ornaments in the background!
If weapons aren’t your thing, DamnNoHtml showed off an Albinauric mask they received during the festive season. However, the comments section warned them not to wear it outside, for fear of Rune farmers using Wave of Gold.
However, the most creative Elden Ring gift we saw was this clock made out of the map of The Lands Between. It seems MacauabungaDude got the gift via Etsy, where someone has painstakingly created this timepiece while ensuring the utmost detailing of the map.
Other gifts we spotted in the Elden Ring subreddit were a Raya Lucaria Academy university hoodie, a life-size replica of the Rivers of Blood katana, an official replica of the arm of Malenia, a number of custom hoodies, an official colouring book, and tons of posters.
Considering that fans think the Erdtree is a Christmas tree, it’s not surprising to see them go all out with the presents. It’s been a Marika Christmas for Elden Ring fans.
With worldbuilding from Game of Thrones scribe George R.R. Martin and developed by FromSoftware, Elden Ring is a masterpiece in what has become known as the ‘Soulslike’ genre of action role-playing games.
