A new Genshin Impact leak reveals that Mavuika’s signature weapon, set to debut in Update 5.3, will feature a special animation.
Genshin Impact has released a new Character Skill Showcase for their upcoming five-star Citlali, revealing her full kit. Previously, it was revealed that she will be a new Cryo catalyst user, suggesting a strong elemental application. Citlali’s Normal Attacks are relatively simple, allowing her to perform three consecutive attacks. Her Charged Attack enables her to enter Aiming Mode, allowing players to carefully select targets and apply AoE Cryo damage. Unlike other weapon types in Genshin Impact, Catalysts apply elemental damage with Normal Attacks.
Genshin Impact 5.3: Citlali Kit Revealed
Citlali’s Elemental Skill, Dawnfrost Darkstar, deploys a shield that scales with her Elemental Mastery. The shield is 250% more effective against Cryo damage. The skill also summons Itzpapa, who can enter a special state if Citlali has at least 50 Nightsoul points. While in this state, Citlali periodically damages nearby enemies with Cryo attacks. When Itzpapa is on the field, triggering Genshin Impact‘s Frozen or Melt reactions reduces the enemy’s Pyro and Hydro resistance by 20%.
This synergy makes Citlali a strong support option for team compositions centered around these elemental reactions. She will likely be an excellent Genshin Impact support for her banner colleague, the long-awaited Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Citlali’s Elemental Burst, Edict of Entwined Splendor, is more straightforward. It deals massive AoE Cryo damage in front of her and restores a set amount of Nightsoul points. The Burst also summons a Spiritvessel Skull near enemies, which explodes after a short duration and are limited to three enemy targets.
The kit details suggest that Citlali will be a powerful shielding support capable of dealing significant Cryo damage. She will also be invaluable for exploring Genshin Impact‘s Natlan region, as one of her Passive Talents allows her to fly on a pillow in areas featuring Phlogiston Mechanics.
laim that Citlali seems to be a decent pick for the current meta. However, her main flaw is likely the fact that, while she can shred Pyro and Hydro resistances, she cannot reduce Cryo RES despite being a Cryo user.
