Unlike its predecessor, Overwatch 2 follows a live-service model that continues to bring new content to the game every season. Fans can regularly expect a new character, Battle Pass, and hero balancing from each season. Beyond that, new maps, special events, limited-time modes, and collaborations have also been added to the game since its launch. Overwatch 2 Season 14 began on December 10 and runs until February 18. Despite being a fresh addition, some players are already utilizing Hazard’s skills to one-shot enemy Tanks.

Overwatch 2 Brings Back Winter Wonderland With More Rewards Than Ever

The Winter Wonderland event returns to Overwatch 2, with its 2024 iteration featuring more cosmetic rewards than any prior one.

Reddit user Silly-Marzipan5755 recently shared an Overwatch 2 clip that highlights Hazard’s impressive Jagged Wall ability. The Jagged Wall has 400 health, does 50 base damage, and knocks nearby enemies back. The clip begins by showing Hazard’s perspective as he misses some attacks on two enemies, Juno and Orisa. Hazard is briefly healed, and an allied Juno drops a Hyper Ring nearby as the enemy team backtracks. As their opponents group up near the payload on Overwatch 2‘s Rialto map, Hazard fires his Jagged Wall projectile, which springs to life underneath Orisa. The gameplay footage then shows an aerial view of the moment, with a defeated Orisa flying away.

Overwatch 2’s Hazard Has a Jagged Trick Up His Sleeve

Given that Overwatch 2‘s Orisa has 150 health in an open queue, 300 in a role queue, and an additional 325 armor, it’s unclear how she was eliminated from one ability. There may be a glitch associated with Hazard’s Jagged Wall that sends heroes flying off-screen if the projectile lands directly under them. According to one Reddit user, Orisa was defeated because there was nowhere for her to go when she was knocked back except upward. While Jagged Wall isn’t Hazard’s Ultimate ability, it has impressive utility as long as it can one-shot enemies. Some potential counters to the Jagged Wall include barriers, D.Va’s Defense Matrix, Sigma’s Kinetic Grasp, and a well-timed Javeline Spin from Orisa.

While Orisa may not have been defeated by the Jagged Wall itself, the clip highlights a potential issue with the ability. As Blizzard continues to update Overwatch 2, it will likely be fixed if it is indeed being affected by a bug.
