What is the Season Rollover or Reset
When NBA Live Mobile starts a new season, which usually is once a year, it’s termed a Reset. Therefore Reset or Season Rollover is the transition from season to season, NBA Live Mobile 24 will become NBA Live Mobile 25, precisely from December 21st. The game will see a facelift, and all the events will change, like any game, it’s just a new model of what we already have been playing.
And like any other game with a New Year model, you start at square one, the same as all of your fellow gamers. It’s the reset. With the Season 9 update arriving on NBA Live Mobile, the anticipation and enthusiasm for the new season remain as high as ever, but the reset is something that the players will be concerned about.
Which items carry over to the reset
1. User Name and User ID
Your User Name and the User ID from the current NBA Live Mobile 24 season will be carried forward to the new season in NBA Live Mobile 25. Therefore you will play NBA Live Mobile 25 with your present User Name and ID.
2. NBA Cash and Coins
Coins, the primary in-game currency, and NBA Cash, the premium paid currency that you’ve collected, will both be carried over to the new season, greatly benefiting your in-game resources.
3. Players
Similar to previous years, all your Players will carry over all the players to Season 9, which is a great advantage. These players can only be used as part of a Multi-Year Lineup to gain an edge in some of the more challenging events, but remember as usual, they can’t be included in any other lineup.
4. Jerseys, Courts, and Boost Items
Another advantage is you get to carry Jerseys, Courts, and Boost Items to Season 9.
Item Limit
However, do note that players will have most of their Credentials saved only if the number of items is below 3500, which is a boost with the previous season’s item limit being just 1350. It is highly recommended to carefully manage your collection, including extracting surplus items from Sets, to ensure you retain the items you value most.
During the Season 8 rollover, items surpassing the Item Limit will be eliminated and transformed into Credits. This conversion will initiate with the lower-tier items and progress upwards. While we do not have precise information on the credit allocation per item, more information regarding this process will be provided at a later time.
Which items will not carry over
Collectibles and Style Items
Collectibles (Tokens) and Style items will not be transferred to Season 9. To compensate you for the effort you’ve invested in obtaining these items, each of them will be converted into Credits during the rollover. In Season 9, you can utilize these Credits to acquire Store Packs, granting you a head start.
The number of credits you receive for Season 8 will be determined by the total value of items on your account. However, the credits will also have a few exceptions, which haven’t been notified yet. So, without taking that into account, the fundamental conversion rates are as follows:
Item | Credits |
---|---|
10,000 Coins | 1 |
Bronze Token | 1 |
Silver Token | 2 |
Gold Token | 3 |
Elite Token | 4 |
Ultra Token | 5 |
Royal Token | 6 |
Super Token | 7 |
How to prepare for the NBA Live Mobile 24 Season Reset
Now that you’re aware of which items will be carried over to the next season, it’s essential to plan accordingly. Keep in mind that there is an item limit that you should consider. The most effective way to prepare for the NBA Live Mobile 24 Season Reset is to accumulate resources and eliminate any extra items that exceed the 3500 mark.
Also note that as Season 8 comes to an end, the Auction House will be temporarily shut down, preventing the posting of new auctions beginning on October 25, 2024. Any ongoing auctions can run their full course and conclude before Season 9 kicks off, so you can keep track of this to get any movements in the auction going.
