Gamer and streamer Acai28 has shared that they’ve completed a “Permadeath” run of Guitar Hero 2, successfully nailing every single note of every song available, for a total of 74 tunes completed in the game. This is believed to be a Guitar Hero world’s first, making the accomplishment all the more impressive. Acai played the original game on Xbox 360, which is notorious for demanding accuracy of its players. The game was modded to add Permadeath Mode, which considers any note missed a total loss and actually deletes the save, forcing players to completely start over. The only other modification made to the title was to remove the strum limit in order to perfect the notorious Trogdor.
